'We were met with such excellent hospitality with Rina and the New Hamaguchi-ya staff. They were thoughtful with their service, the meals provided were definitely prepared with love and great care. Despite the language barriers, we were treated very well and we would definitely come back and stay again!'

'Very Japanese wood made hotel and price with dinner and breakfast is a bargain. The hot spring bath is big plus. Make sure to check in before too dark as no street lights to the hotel. Beautiful water front for all day and evening. Great services. Rooms are much larger than those in the city Nagoya.'

'I have two feelings about this stay. 1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival. 2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself.'
