Actually apart from the limited space for placing my laptop and no natural light comes through the windows, I’ve nothing much to complain. The overall services are decent - at least the staff will do the best they can to communicate with you! And the location is unbeatable!

The strongest point is the location, however, the room was very small, which I usually don´t mind, but the bathroom was too small. The aspect I disliked the most was that the A/C was centralized hence I couldn´t stop it which was annoying given I had a cold. It´s okay if you are by yourself and want to spend a short time there, though the fact you cannot stop AC is not good.

Let's start with the check in process. They add you on whatsApp without even asking you. Once you answered, you MUST register online and input your passport info and all your info, only to being asked AGAIN for all that information at the reception the day of your check in. Very annoying is double work. But the location of the hostal, the cleanliness of the room make up for that. Although i had a very bad experience with an extra rude housekeeper I believe her name is Linet or something like that. Without asking her anything at all she approached me to " help" me with the coffee machine in the most rude and mean way, she spoke to me like an scolding mother. She took me by surprise and I could not eve utter a word. I felt totally humiliated and mistreated. Later on, I went to the reception to let them know about the incident and she was called to apologize to me I said there was no need and she started talking to me in a defiant way, laughing at my face -again in the most mean and rude possible way. She was screaming at me and finally she turned around as if she was the mean owner of the place not a worker with zero empathy. She does not have customer service attitude, nor training, she CAN NOT been working with people, she can NOT be working with guests, she does not have the profile of customer service, she is doing DAMAGE to this hotel because I will never go back here and I will not recommend this place to anybody, on the contrary. It was such a bad experience that tinted the great time that so far I have had in Madrid the many times that I have visited. I was thinking it was a mistake to book a room on this price's range because of the people working there, only because I liked the area and there were no more options, but it was not worth the trouble. So far is the worst experience I had in Madrid, and to be clear this person is not Spanish, and if not mistaken is not the first time she have mistreated guests.

The place is situated right on Calle de Fuencarral which offer a perfect spot to explore the city center and do some shopping. We took a twin room with AC which was a wise choice considering the heat of the Spanish summer. Although the AC unit was centralised, the temperature was pleasant and throughout the day. The bed was comfortable, the room and private bathroom small but with all needed amenities for a comfortable stay. The receptionist was very kind and professional, and assisted us with a lovely stile, which is definitely an added value to the experienced. Five stars and recommended.

La peggiore esperienza di sempre, siamo scappati una notte prima del previsto per via delle cimici da letto. Ho chiesto di restituirmi la notte non usufruita, ma hanno detto che dovevo dare preavviso di una settimana e quindi non potevano restituirmi la notte già pagata. Che senso ha? Se la stanza non avesse avuto le cimici non me ne sarei andato via prima. Si miei reclami via email e via whatsapp hanno detto che il problema era in aeroporto e di reclamare con la mia compagnia aerea. A parte questo, che già basterebbe,...camera e bagno minuscoli. Un plauso per essere riusciti a fare entrare letto francese, due comodini, rotti per di più, e un piccolo appendiabiti, oltre a un bagno di 1 metro X un metro circa in così poco spazio. Claustrofobico a dir poco, con finestra che da su un cavedio che non aiuta la già difficile situazione. Vogliamo parlare della colazione? In un corridoio, vicino agli aspirapolveri, una macchinetta del caffè e un paio di merendine disposte in modo disordinato. Inutile dire che abbiamo preferito andare in un bar vicino a fare colazione. Infine, per accedere alle stanze al primo piano (ci sono anche ai piani superiori, ma in questo siamo stati fortunati) le scale sono in legno, molto vecchie e scricchiolano al passaggio. Se avete bagagli grandi e pesanti, il rischio di cadere è elevato (e viste le dimensioni delle camere avrete poi difficoltà a trovargli un posto). L'unica cosa che si salva è la posizione, per il resto se volete passare un weekend da incubo è il posto giusto, altrimenti statene alla larga.

Hotel acorde al precio abonado, la habitación es pequeña pero linda, cama cómoda. Lo compré por Booking, el hotel tardó en responder consultas previas al ingreso, pero es usual en Madrid. La recepción tiene horarios limitados. Una contra es que es por escalera el acceso al piso 1 y 2, debería estar aclarado.
