We’re currently staying at Travelodge Hotel Beckton, and overall, the experience has been pleasant thanks to the wonderful staff. Everyone—from the reception team to housekeeping and kitchen staff—has been polite, professional, and helpful. The receptionists are welcoming and quick to assist with any issues, while the cleaning staff do a great job keeping the rooms and common areas spotless. The kitchen staff have also been fantastic, maintaining a clean breakfast area and ensuring fresh food is always available. However, there are a few concerns worth mentioning. The air conditioning in the rooms is not working, which makes the rooms very warm and uncomfortable, especially at night. Adding to this, the windows cannot be opened, which means there is no natural airflow or ventilation. This has made the rooms feel stuffy and a bit claustrophobic. This could be a real issue for guests sensitive to heat or in need of fresh air. Despite these problems, the staff are doing their best to accommodate guests and maintain a high level of service. If the ventilation issues were resolved, this would be a near-perfect stay. We’re still enjoying our time here, largely thanks to the fantastic team on site.
