A petite cabin with ladder loft. Perfect for skiers or a young couple/small family looking for a little time away. There is a washer/dryer, kitchen with oven, dining table and bathroom downstairs. Climbing the ladder going up to the loft, is a king size bed and 50 inch Roku tv. Feel free to adjust the dining table and seats to accommodate your needs, please be mindful of damage and return to the original arrangement. Though everything is small scale, this cabin is quite cozy and is a great place to stay if you’re comfortable climbing a ladder. We have high speed WiFi and natural gas heating.The property is 5 acres on an air strip with four other cabins. There is a public fire pit with plenty of seating and BBQ pit with benches, which you’re free to use. We also have berry plants and fresh veggies in the garden during the summer to snack on and use for meals and drinks. Just minutes from the Little Susitna river, Government Peak hiking and biking trails and the entrance to majestic Hatcher’s pass, it is your perfect basecamp for you Alaskan adventure. Wi fi is available for streaming of your devices but no TV or dishwasher for this rustic cabin. The toilet is an environmentally friendly composting toilet that is odor free and captures (just a taste) of what it is like to be a homesteader in the bush. So kick back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of our corner of the Matanuska Valley. Enjoy a day hiking, fishing or biking and then drive 10 minutes into downtown Palmer and sample the number of breweries, kombucha bar, or craft food that Palmer has has to offer.
