The service is very good. Staff always willing to help. Wonderful view from the windows. Breakfast and dinner are both very lovely and delicious. However, not having an air conditioner in the room is a disadvantage. We stay there in June and it was extremely hot. Cant sleep well without even a fan. Another problem is the flies and mosquito. They are from the garbage collecting place and the pond outside. Very annoying and disgusting.

Service and food was impeccable, and location beautiful and charming. Stayed in a basic room so it was as expected but would probably pay to upgrade next time.

Gorgeous location, beautiful views, genuinely lovely & helpful staff. Wide range of options on breakfast menu (we didn’t eat there for lunch or dinner). Well stocked hotel bar, lovely lounge to relax in, spacious bathroom with spa bath. Only negative would be you can hear people in adjoining rooms so if you’re a light sleeper you may find this an issue. Great value for money, we would definitely stay here again! :)

Lovely hotel, we stayed in the deluxe king room with mountain view but you can still see the lake so best of both worlds for views. The bed was so comfortable, felt more like a super-king. We didnt really use the reception rooms or bar area as went elsewhere in the evening but breakfast in the morning was delicious. You pre-order your breakfast the night before which made it so easy, just sit down and your food arrives. Outside the breakfast room window there are multiple bird feeders so we were very entertained by the mixture of birds enjoying their breakfast at the same time. We will be returning.

Lovely stay in this hotel. Nice breakfast in the morning and view from our bath/bedroom was stunning. Bedroom let in a fair bit of light from the hallway, but apart from that it was a highly recommended stay.

This property is wonderful inside and out the views are lovely it is so peaceful but close to keswick and buses every 20 mins if you don't fancy the drive, the staff were wonderful very pleasant and helpful we only had breakfast on this occasion but it was excellent we enjoyed every second and will definitely be returning and trying the evening menu.

We had a wonderful stay at the Leathes Head Hotel. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was excellent. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, much more inviting and cosy than a larger establishment. Dinner was exceptional and we loved the lounge with a wood burner and beautiful views, especially with the wild weather outside! Breakfast was very good and our room was very clean and comfortable, again with amazing views of the fells. Perfect location for exploring the area and escaping for some tranquility!
