The kitchen is fully stocked for group cooking needs, and has a new easy to clean LVT wood appearance floor. We installed a new hot tub and firepit area in July 2021. The newly upgraded gas fireplace is ready to roll and provide a lovely central space for your group. Keeping everything clean and minimal so there is space to enjoy your trip has been our goal from the beginning, and it has been well received! For Spring / Summer / Autumn guests, we have a great deck area for entertaining, cooking and eating, and the hot tub and fire pit are right in the mix. We are walking distance to Timberline Mountain and a short drive to Canaan Valley Resort so you can easily tap into their events schedule. You are able to hike into the Dolly Sods, play tennis, fish, golf, and enjoy the outdoors without ever driving more than 3 minutes. You are a short walk away from The Owl Market which boasts wonderful pastries and coffee as well as a beer and wine selection and ice cream service. A short scenic drive and you can enjoy the little towns of Davis and Thomas, as well as Black Water Falls. For winter guests, we are located at the base of the mountain, so while you are walking distance to the lodge and lifts, you do not need 4WD to access our property! This is a great bonus in bad weather when the steep roads around Timberline Mountain can make access difficult. We are less than 1000 feet from the lift (0.17 miles) We are local home owners, and live and work at Timberline Mountain.
