This 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage sleeps 8 and is just minutes from Hayward.This lake cottage features a full kitchen with granite countertops, modern appliances, central air conditioning, living room equipped with a smart tv and free WiFi and private dock for your boating and swimming enjoyment. Enjoy the spectacular views from the 3- season room and large deck that overlook Round Lake. Everyone will enjoy the lower level rec room filled with entertainment complete with a gas fireplace, tv, foosball, ping pong, dartboard and card table. Plus many card and board games all ages will be sure to love. Enjoy evenings by the outdoor fire pit, just steps outside from the screened porch. A walk down the steps will bring you to the dock where you can tie up your watercraft of choice for your water adventures. A canoe with paddles, two bicycles (child/woman's size) and a floating oasis (I-float) are provided for your enjoyment. There is also a propane gas grill provided for your cooking and grilling needs.The Master bedroom is located on the main level and offers a queen bed, large walk-in closet, master bath and patio doors that walk out onto a private deck. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and is located on second level.Bedroom #3 has 2 twin beds and is located on second level. There's also a FULL SIZE Sofa Sleeper in rec room and one air mattress available.The dock accommodates boats up to 40 feet in length. The water level at the end of the dock is about 4 1/2 feet deep. Please note that the dock is typically pulled from the water mid-to-late October, dependent on the weather. The water is clear to about 10 feet of depth, so swimming can be done from the dock. Water shoes are recommended as some areas have a gravel bottom.Round Lake is approximately a 3,000 acre lake with 19 miles of shoreline with many bays. The lake is a spring fed lake and is so clear - you can see the bottom at 10 ft. It has a sandy bottom and shoreline and is great for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and canoeing. Round lake does have a public beach for kids to enjoy a sandy beach. There are several other beaches and sand bars obtainable by boat.For your convenience, there is an on lake boat rental service located at Round Lake Marina.Please refer to the rental agreement prior to booking.This is not a party house. Round Lake is a 3,054 acre lake and home to bluegill, muskie, northern, walleye, bass, rainbow and brown trout.Our four bedroom home on Big Round Lake has generous square footage for a family gathering or just a quiet weekend for two alone. An open concept main level living area with a fireplace is cozy and inviting while the walkout lower level provides an additional family room for card playing and games. The home comfortably sleeps 12 and is conveniently located 8 miles from the quaint downtown of Hayward, WI.Two bedrooms on the main floor are furnished with king beds, one lower level bedroom boasts a king bed, bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. The second lower level bedroom includes a queen bed and full laundry facilities.This summer you will be able to enjoy the crystal clear waters of Round Lake and a crisp sunrise out the bay window that will not disappoint as you enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast! As the sun begins set you might also catch a gorgeous moonrise shimmering over the water. When you are not on the water, Linden Road provides the perfect location to take a leisurely walk or bike ride under a tree canopy. Guests can also choose to rent or bring their own ATVs on which you can roam the greater Hayward area on the Sawyer County trail system. Mountain biking on the CAMBA (Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association) trails is also very popular as is floating down the Namekagon River in inflatable tubes.As our guests, we want you to be able to jump in the car at the last minute without spending a lot of time packing and preparing for vacation, which means we will provide lots of amenities available for your use, including charging stations for electronics. Our home is set off the recently paved Linden Road limiting the sound of traffic and giving you the comfort to your little ones aren’t getting too close to the road for comfort. We do recommend bringing water shoes for swimming close to shore. There is a small waterway that allows access onto the main lake as well as a public boat landing minutes away. Unfortunately, large boats or pontoons will not fit through the inlet which has an average depth of 3ft. Don’t forget fun and games for people of all ages!
