Our newly remodeled cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood in beautiful Pine, Arizona. Relax among the tall pine trees that surround our cabin where deer and elk make occasional visits. The cabin is only 1/2 mile from the shops and restaurants in downtown Pine, and minutes from hiking trails and attractions such as Tonto Natural Bridge. Enjoy your morning coffee on the comfortable back deck, and relax in the evening around the firepit in the front yard, which is complete with natural wood benches. The whole property is completely enclosed with a 6' redwood fence for your privacy and security. Inside features Wi-Fi, a large screen smart TV complete with Dish Network and Chromecast, or play cards/games at the kitchen table. A beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your favorite recipes. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds complete with all linens. The bathroom has a double sink vanity and a separate room with the shower and toilet. Due to the numerous repeat guests we have with pet and smoke allergies, we have a NO PETS and a NO SMOKING policy. We are sorry for any inconvenience to pet owners and smokers. If you’re looking for city life luxury with jet tubs, surround sound and massage chairs this home isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a true cabin getaway with just the right amount of comfort and lots of outdoor adventure look no further!The famous heard of Elk regularly lounge behind our home and can usually be seen several times a day lounging and grazing. Our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin can comfortably sleep 6 with space for up to two more on the pull out couch. The entire cabin is 1,000 square feet. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a queen bed. There is a TV in the back bedroom and a large TV in the living room. Both are smart TVs and we are equipped with WiFi so you can log into your favorite app for movie night. We have newly installed central air. Enjoy some outdoor games (Cornhole, Jenga, Connect 4) in the backyard while the elk visit just beyond the chain link fence or spend your days hiking, off-roading, or enjoying the local markets and restaurants. We have a barbecue grill with propane tank. The front porch is a peaceful haven with a swing and couch. There is plenty of parking if you arrive in multiple cars. The kitchen is fully equipped and you are welcome to use any durable goods you find in the cupboards. Note - We do not have an ice maker or filtered water on tap. The dirt driveway is equipped with 30 amp and 50 amp plugins for an RV if you prefer separate living quarters with your guests however please note the driveway is steep and somewhat tight at the bottom. It takes an experienced operator and often 4 wheel drive to back a trailer or camper in. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Any vehicle will be fine for regular parking, 4 wheel drive is only needed for trailer parking.Dogs are welcome for a fee of $25 but we ask that you clean up after them. The backyard is fully enclosed by a chainlink fence to keep you fur family safe. There is an additional $50 fee for uncollected doggy doodoo. We also ask that you not leave them unattended in order to prevent any damage to our home or furnishings.The indoor fireplace shown in the photos is not operational. It does not vent properly and WILL fill the house with smoke. We have central heat and a back up gas furnace in case of power outages.No smoking in the home or backyard. Take special note of the fire restrictions during your stay which vary throughout the seasons.Note that we have a ring doorbell at the front door facing the street and a camera in the backyard facing the yard for security. This is a comfortable, cozy cabin made with families in mind! Recently completely remodeled, everything has been updated. From the cabinets, flooring, carpet, tile in the bathrooms, large deck, and gorgeous pine doors throughout – everything is new! A large, open floorplan welcomes you on the main floor with the kitchen, dining, and living area. Recessed lighting with dimming capabilities is in every room, allowing you to create the mood of each room. There are new, large dual-pane windows with blinds throughout the house that allow wonderful natural light into the home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need and is fully upgraded with new stainless appliances, cabinets, and beautiful granite counter tops and comfy bar stools. There is a cabinet in the island stocked full of family-friendly and adult games too! The island also has USB direct outlets on the sides. The living room has plenty of seating. A large 65” TV, an electric fireplace with color changing LEDs, and lots of throw blankets helps set the mood of the room. There is Roku available and popular apps already downloaded (Netflix, Hulu, Paramount+, etc). All you need is your login to access them. The Roku guest mode will log you out when you leave.Upstairs, there are two generous bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with a king bed. Both bedrooms have room-darkening curtains to darken the room if desired. There is a large shared hallway bathroom. Both rooms have desks and plenty of charging stations to help power any devices. Barnwood accent walls also help make the rooms upstairs a welcoming retreat. Your family will love the kids room downstairs! Two sets of bunk beds (two twin beds and two full beds), a TV, lots of toys, books and couches are the perfect place for the kids to hang out. There are French doors downstairs that open to a brand-new deck, perfect for gathering with friends or family by a warm fire. The decks connect to create a large wrap-around deck that goes up to the other side of the house. Both ends of the deck are gated to allow your dogs outside safely. We have recently added a fenced-in dog run for your dogs to explore the yard.One of our favorite features of the home is out on the upper deck….a huge Ponderosa Pine growing right through the deck! The previous owners new how special this was and built the deck around it. What a wonderful reminder of the beauty of this area and nature! Please protect and respect our tree. Any defacing of the tree will result in a fine.We have personally tested the house with our three young children and love coming here with our extended family. Guests can literally walk to the back yard and enter the national forest. Our cabin is in a premier location, 3 minutes from main street on Pine, very close to the world famous Old County Inn Pizza Restaurant, Pine grocery store, yet backs up to the national forest. The front yard is perfect for memorable times with a fire pit and horse shoe pit, all to enjoy the cool pine air and relax.We chose this cabin due to its truly unique setting. Over 90% of cabins in the Pine/Strawberry area do not back to the national forest and are extremely close to other cabins. Fortunately, our cabin is rare and is against the national forest. With no homes behind or in front, it's a truly amazing place to enjoy. My family and kids love being able to hike behind the cabin and enjoy the massive pines and hiking trails. Looking to get away for the weekend or for a week? This 1800 sq. ft. cabin is nestled among tall Ponderosa Pines, some 100 years old! A taste of paradise is only about an hour and a half drive from Scottsdale.The cabin is two stories, the main story being on the second floor. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Upstairs there is also a bathroom, family room and kitchen. Downstairs there is another family room with another queen futon, bathroom and laundry room. This is the perfect set up for two couples or two families as it allows each some privacy. There are two televisions and DVD players, one in the master bedroom and the other in the downstairs family room. I have several movies you can borrow. WI-FI is also available.The deck wraps around the entire second floor so you can choose to sit in the sun or shade whichever you prefer. There is a gas BBQ and a hammock you can use. The cabin has three fireplaces; two wood and one gas. The wood ones are in the upstairs family room and master bedroom and the gas one is in the downstairs family room. There is a small fee for wood or you can bring your own. Don't forget to bring marshmallows to roast!The cabin sits on an acre and a half of land and backs the National Forest. It is quite private and quiet. If you walk into the forest about a quarter of a mile at dusk and you are quiet and lucky, of course, you could see elk, particularly in the summer and fall. I have seen up to 20 at a time! At the very least, you are certain to hear bugling in the middle of the night if you wake up. I have a book there that gives you all kinds of ideas as to what to do; hikes, fishing, swimming holes, restaurants, shops, etc. Everything you need is there. All you need to bring is your clothes and food.
