'The best hotel for proximity to dreams park. I particularly liked the 300 block rooms in the secondary building - huge rooms and freezing air conditioning during hot July summers. Only 2 minute from baseball 12U tournament and still only three miles or so from downtown shopping. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and go again.'

'This is very much a classic, old-fashioned American motel, but it is not the kind of place you need to be overly worried about. The sheets and towels are changed, and small packets of all-in-one shampoo are provided. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower with a shower curtain. There can occasionally be a slight odor, which is probably the main downside. The hair dryer is an old-style black unit mounted on the wall, and it may remind you of the kinds of dryers that used to be common in motels years ago. The room includes a refrigerator, microwave, and television. Wi-Fi is available and generally convenient, although it sometimes disconnects, which is part of the motel’s charm. Cell phone reception is also somewhat weak, but I was still able to get a signal. During my stay, AT&T and Verizon were not particularly strong, while T-Mobile seemed to work better. All of the buildings are single-story, and the parking lot is spacious, so finding a place to park should not be a problem. There also appears to be a Chinese restaurant attached to the reception area, although I never saw it open during my stay. Staff are usually available at the front desk from around 9:00 a.m. until about 11:00 p.m. For arrivals outside those hours, you can call in advance. There is a key lockbox outside, and you can open it using a passcode, so late-night check-in is still easy and convenient. This is not a luxurious property, but it is a practical and reasonably comfortable motel, especially for travelers arriving by car and watching baseball games in Allstar village.'
