Welcome to our magical place. It's a true gem on Lake Morris, located on a very quiet dead-end road on a couple acres of land. If you're a wildlife lover, you will be in heaven! There are NO STEPS , no slopes to the water making it especially nice for grandparents to join in on the vacation! Mt. Morris Lakes system is a flowage lake that is part of a five lake chain covering 172 acres located in Waushara County. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike. No wake before 10am and after 5pm - perfect for motor sports during the day and fishing or paddle-boarding, kayaking in the morning or evening. We supply all the toys! Paddle boards/kayaks, tubes, inflatables, etc. 2021 Bennington 10 person pontoon boat available for rent for extra charge. The luxury log home is spacious with 2,700 sq. feet of living space the great room has a 26-foot cathedral ceiling with a huge stone fireplace as the focus point, beautifully log wood exposure, equipped with all the amenities of home. High end furnishings, linens, and decor will make this a pleasure for your vacation. 3 large bedrooms, 3 ½ baths (bathroom in each bedroom) wonderful country kitchen with all the bells and whistles, 2 full size refrigerators (one in the garage), 3 TV’s, washer & dryer, foosball table, ping pong table, pool table, air hockey table, gas grill, 2 bonfire fire pit, private pier and an abundance of outdoor furniture including closed gazebo, huge trampoline and playset for younger children. A new addition for the 2023 season - brand new 9 person HotTub! A wonderful fire pit is perfect for the sunset show and smores (complimentary firewood you would ever need along with a VERY handy dolly to transport the wood & flame included!) Garage has a magnetic mosquito net that closes with ease so easy to close it with ease and go in/out while still feeling like you’re outside.The lake has an awesome swimming beach that is a kayak/boat ride or a very short drive away. There are many biking & hiking trails, close by park with lots of things to do: tennis courts, volleyball field, basketball, playground for children, picnic areas, etc. Strawberry, blueberry, raspberry farm and amish eggs, seasonal veggies close by. In winter time Nordic Mountain (1.3 mile away) is a great opportunity for skiing, snowboarding and tubing for a family winter fun time. This home has it all and would be perfect for multi-generational family gatherings, reunions or just simple time out of town.Downtown Wautoma is 10 min away and it's full of quaint little shops and restaurants, candy store, ice cream, etc. There is a $99 insurance protection plan that will be added once you start your booking process. This will give both parties extra protection, and will cover up to $5,000 of accident coverage.We have cameras outside to keep an eye on our dock, driveway and patio during storms and events. There are no indoor cameras.Please wash & dry towels, start dishwasher, and lock all windows and doors before departure. Our home has 2 bedrooms with views of the lakes, 2 full baths, open concept kitchen with island, dining area & living room with large windows & a patio door overlooking Morris Lake. You will love the screen porch with views of both Morris & Emerald Lakes. The screen porch includes a table, 4 chairs & a dorm size frig. The Mt Morris chain consists of 5 lakes covering 172 acres, Morris Lake is a full recreational lake with the other four being no wake lakes. You will find it to be an all around great lake, with something to offer everyone. We have a pier on both Emerald & Morris Lakes, We recently rehabbed our shoreline on Morris Lake, installing 4 concrete steps for easy water entry. Walk further down to the pier where you can enjoy coffee on a bench, fishing or swimming. Lake Irogami is a full recreation lake. It is great for skiing, tubing, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. It is a shallow lake and tends to be low traffic making it safe and enjoyable for all to use. We have provided two paddle boards and two kayaks for your enjoyment, as well as fishing poles you are welcome to use. We have also provided life jackets.This home is close to ATV and snowmobile trails. For those golf enthusiasts, Waushara Country Club is a 27-hole course just minutes away from the home! Looking for winter time fun? Nordic Mountain Ski and Tubing Hill is just ten minutes away as well! Now we are sharing this special place with others.Birch Bay Retreat is family-friendly and is an excellent location for a family reunion, a small casual outdoor wedding, a retreat for a small group or club, or similar events, or a quiet weekend getaway or writing retreat.Enjoy fishing and swimming from our pier, or take our canoes or pontoon boat out for a spin! BBQ on our wraparound porch with views of the lake and wildflower garden, and then gather around the campfire at our private lakeside fire pit in the evening. For summer guests, the first night's firewood is on us as our welcome to the lake! Please note that the Boat and Pier are only guaranteed in from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
