Three spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms will give you and your guests privacy while staying under one roof. A full basement recreation room with 65 inch smart TV, pool table and karaoke machine will entertain your group while maintaining the fantastic lake and mountain views from that space. Rise & Shine has three porches that give unique views of the lake and mountains: one porch just off the living room/dining room with ample seating; one porch is off the basement rec room and one private porch off the third floor bedroom with a porch swing to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. The fire pit on the side of the cabin is fun for wrapping up the day with smores and great conversation. The cabin has a boat ramp and dock which gives you access to Douglas Lake for fishing and swimming right from the house and bring your boat to explore the over 500 miles of inlets and coastline that the lake has to offer. If working remotely is needed, the cabin has complimentary guest access to WIFI and internet services. An office nook on the third floor overlooks the open concept kitchen, living and dining areas below … not to mention keeping an eye on the lake and mountain scenery. Although somewhat unpredictable because of the varying amount of rainfall, usually the lake level is maintained fairly full from spring into the latter part of the summer. If your concern is being able to see the water, you can see it all year round. If you are planning to bring your boat and launch it from our property boat launch, make sure you check with us or local authorities to make sure you are comfortable with the existing water level. We have direct water access with a dock and a boat launch.While this property is tucked away it is ideal for a few day trips to hike the Smoky Mountains or access to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Grocery stores are about 15-20 minutes from the cabin and it's a nice 30 minute ride to Pigeon Forge, and 45 minutes to Gatlinburg.A second chalet with two more bedrooms and two full bathrooms is on our property next door and may be available for rent at an additional price, availability permitted. This tiny log cabin has private lake access with a small kayak dock. Soak in the hot tub to start your dayUnfortunately, it is not large enough to dock a boat, but you can use the Douglas Lake Marina, about 10 minutes away, to launch your boat. There is one small kayak provided but feel free to bring your own. We do not provide life jackets. Please understand this rental is for couples only and maybe one small child, but not 3 adults. Excellent fishing, and is located just south of Dandridge (10 mins). Sevierville is 20 mins, Pigeon Forge is 30 mins, and Gatlinburg is 45 mins. You have the ability to be close to all the attractions without the hustle and bustle of staying in the city. The cabin is the last house in the cove, so there is very little boat traffic to interfere with your stay. It is attached to a larger home that sleeps 10, if you need room for a reunion, etc. The properties are separated by a 6 ft privacy fence. The lake is a TVA lake, so there is water from Memorial Day until late September ONLY. After that, there is NO WATER. Please see the pictures! There is still lots to do even out of season. This is a great getaway location for a relaxing long weekend or vacation for 2. The small floating dock set up for a kayak or canoe, is just a few steps below the cabin. H2O Watersports is about 1/2 mile up the road for anyone who wants to rent boats or jet skis. This is a great relaxing spot in Dandridge close to 3 different interstate exits and within driving distance of 2 different lakes for fishing. Outside of the hustle and traffic of pigeon forge and Gatlinburg yet they are a short drive for entertainment too. You will have a full kitchen, living room with love seat and sofa, and a bathroom all to your self! I also provide Disney +, Netflix and HBO for your television entertainment with a foosball coffee table if TV isn't your thing. The wall unit air-conditioning is also a heat in the winter .
