Our home is a beautiful water front home with 5 large bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. We also have 3 spacious living areas that allow every member of the group ample room to relax and enjoy the serenity of the lake. Our living space on the main floor is open to the kitchen and dining area so no one misses out on the conversations and fun. The screened porches are a welcoming area to enjoy your morning coffee or your evening drinks and appetizers before dinner is served from the grill. We are located in a quiet neighborhood with deep water only minutes from Tugaloo State Park and Harbor Light Marina. So bring your boat or PWC, tie up at the dock and enjoy exploring the lake by water. (Boat slip is not available.) If relaxing on the dock or a float is more your style then know a sunset view is in your future. Only 5 miles off I-85, our home is convenient and comfortable. You'll feel at home and your only wish will be to stay longer. And don't forget the family 4 legged friend. Attention: We are the last dock in the cove and we totally dried out at the dock. No water activities are possible right now of the dock. Deep water access for all water activities is available at public boat ramp within two minutes all year around.Our home is a very nice and cozy A-style log cabin on Lake Hartwell’s lakefront property, in Gumlog, GA.If you’re looking to escape the concrete jungles and urban grind of metro / city living, for a nice break, rest, and relaxation; this is an ideal choice.The house is in an idyllic, and quiet setting on beautiful Lake Hartwell, on the Georgia side.You will be in a pristine country setting, very close to the foothills (beginnings) of the Appalachian Mountains; yet do not have to give up on benefits of a modern home.Our cabin is fully furnished and equipped with all amenities: Central air (HVAC); kitchen appliances, smart TVs, and wifi internet.Floor plan is very open, with living area having an all-wood cathedral ceiling for a beautiful, classy look and feel.Loft has a master (king size) bed, and a landing / lounge area with 65” smart TV, a chaise lounge, and a pull-out sofa. BBQ grill is propane and charcoal; bring your own fuel. Nearly 1.5 acre wooded lot offers private get away. Concrete parking for 4+ cars with stairs leading down to cabin.We offer a paddle boat, 2 canoes and 1 kayak with paddles and life jackets.My favorite part of this cabin is that there are no homes within 150 feet. You may see deer, birds, eagles, hawks and other wildlife. UPDATE—-Please be aware that this year (2026) the lake levels are way below normal due to drought conditions throughout the southeast. Currently our boat dock is I useable. There are several boat ramps (one ramp down the street) close by if you bring a boat for day use. Enjoy your stay in our 3 bedroom /2 bath home located on beautiful Lake Hartwell only 30 minutes from Clemson University66 and 40 minutes to the University of Georgia. One hour from Greenville, SC , 30mins to Commerce and an 1.5 hours from Atlanta. Open floor plan sleeps 6, with wireless internet, 3 smart, new tv's one on the porch to watch those games as you grill! 2 tv's are 55" and 1 is 43". Stream Netflix, U-Tube TV, Prime and Samsung Plus. Washer/dryer, beach towels and linens provided. The large deck overlooking the lake is furnished with rockers, comfy swivel chairs and a dining table that add a special touch to Lake Life Living. The cabin is only 10 minutes off Interstate I-85 and 8 minutes from beautiful , historic, downtown Lavonia, Ga. Enjoy the use of 2 Kayaks and a canoe. Floats and fishing poles, and life jackets are also provided. The cabin is private yet close to restaurants and shopping. A wonderful, well furnished home for a romantic trip for two, or a fun filled family vacation. A boat ramp to launch your boat is located just down the street from the cabin. Tugaloo State Park is just off Gumlog road offering hiking trails, miniature golf, tennis, and a sand beach. Harbor Lights Marina offer pontoon boat rentals as well as the Tilly's Tiki bar & restaurant. (limited open times). There is so much to do and see within a short distance of the cabin or if you prefer to stay at home in front of the fire and read a good book. There is plenty of room to park your boat trailer or RV on the property.
