About the location: Forest Ridge Village is a very peaceful neighborhood with a pool, tennis courts and a lot of green space. It's also just a short walk to 13 miles of white sandy beach. Amelia Island offers plenty of opportunities for bicycling, birdwatching, golf and fishing. The Egan's Creek Waterway is also a great place for a walk, where you will often see turtles, herons and alligators. At Fort Clinch State Park, you can step back into 1864 as soldiers reenact life during the Civil War. Fort Clinch also offers a six-mile multi-use trail, and 3 miles of shoreline - great for shelling and shark tooth hunting!
