Chemicals are used to balance the water in the hot tub, some people may have sensitive skin, hence, use it as your per your own discretion. PLEASE shower before & after using the hot tub. The neighborhood features 200 acres of open space for hiking, biking, and volleyball.There is ample parking in front of the home (space for 3 cars). The home is located on a private easement shared with a few other neighbors. Because of this, there is almost no traffic on that road. We do ask that you be courteous of our neighbors and stick to the designated parking spaces.WINTER:To get to Sunset Haven, you’ll be on paved roads the entire time with the exception of the 100 foot easement (rare for mountain properties!) This 5000 square foot cabin sits on 37 acres with AMAZING 8500 elevation mountain views from every room. Get cozy sitting by the crackling fire sipping your coffee. Just a couple miles to the 285 highway and restaurants in Bailey, the Treehouse Adventure Park, the wedding venue, and borders the National Forest. Enjoy a quick hike in the backyard or a long trek in the adjacent National Forest or even hunt during the hunting season. The open main level has all reclaimed barn wood floors, large windows, and a beautiful log staircase. You will enjoy cooking for your party with the extensive island, copper farmhouse sink, 6 burner gas stove, double ovens and BBQ. The second story has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms). The master bedroom has an attached sitting area with recliners and TV, and the master bathroom is currently dated but functional and scheduled for a remodel. The walk out daylight basement features game and exercise areas, and an additional bunk room for sleeping. You will find ping pong, pool table, electronic basketball hoop game, and foosball in the basement. Half baths are on the main and basement levels. This lodge like house has been remodeled in almost every area. In this spectacular house, you will find a few areas that are indicative of a remodel in progress such as some missing trim or drywall needing texture. Even with that the house is impressive. Current beds- 1 king, 4 queens, 3 twins, pack and play (upon request). Dirt road leads from the highway to the house and as such, is bumpy in spots. Home has filtered well water.♦ Bedrooms:(1) Primary suite has king bed, on-suite full bathroom with jacuzzi tub, desk, 2 chairs, pack’n’play crib, large walk in closet, and private outdoor patio.(2) Second bedroom has a queen bed; chair, ironing board and large closet.(3) Third bedroom has a queen bed, bench and large closet.All of the rooms have beautiful wooded views and blinds. Each room is stocked with extra pillows, blankets, towels, hangers, fans and sleep machines.♦ Bathrooms: Stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover wipes, towels, hair dryer, soap, etc. Powder Bath has extra cleaning supplies if needed and First Aid Kit.♦ Laundry: Stackable high efficiency washer/dryer with detergent, etc.♦ Game/Reading Room: Books, games, puzzles, and more are supplied.♦ Dining Room: There is a gas fireplace that’s easily turned on. Instructions will be in the “Welcome Book”♦ Family Room: During the colder months, guests are welcome to use the wood burning fireplace. We provide wood for you. Instructions are in the “Welcome Book” in the kitchen. Please follow instructions carefully and do NOT leave the home with the fire going.♥ In the winter months, we recommend bringing slippers or warm socks, as homes sits on a slab. First floor is laminate flooring, upstairs is carpet.ACCESS:Guests will have access to the entire cabin, attached garage, and entire yard. We do have a locked closet to store extra supplies in the hallway. We will respect your privacy but are minutes away if you need anything!! Detached garage is used as personal storage and guests will not be able to park IN the detached garage but may park in front of it. During the summer months; guests will have access to the game room (above detached garage)Other things to note: Our cabin is located in the mountains. Please advise there will be wildlife on the property. Cell service can be spotty. IN the event there are high winds or wet snowstorms- power outages are possible. Please call us ASAP if you experience any issues.♥ Pets: We love dogs! We have a fully fenced yard and provide dog bowls, poop bags and pooper scooper. PLEASE pick up after your pet. We do not charge a pet fee.♥ Kids: Your family & kiddos are welcome and the home is kid friendly however the home is not childproof. We have: kids plate, bowls, utensils, two highchairs, two Pack’n’Play cribs and lots of toys, coloring books, etc.♦ FIRES/SMOKING: There is no smoking allowed on the property! Any spark can start a forest fire. We take this very seriously. Do NOT light any candles, fireworks, etc. The wood burning stove is the ONLY item we allow. If you have any questions about the fireplace- please reach out to us. Propane fireplace on the patio is allowed.♦ Trash: Due to bear activity; please keep all trash inside or in the trashcans in the garage. Remove all the food from your vehicle to prevent bears from breaking into your car.☀ Winter weather: During the colder months please be aware of weather conditions and plan accordingly. Though our road and driveway are paved; we do recommend a 4WD or all-wheel drive vehicle.
