'I have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!'

'Si raggiunge facilmente dalla stazione centrale in 5 minuti e dall’hotel al centro occorrono 8 minuti, quindi abbastanza comodo. Personale al ricevimento molto professionale e disponibile come in sala ristorante. Colazione varia ed abbondante sia dolce che salata. Lo consiglio vivamente.'

'トリエステの中心部にあり、鉄道駅やバスターミナルから歩いて10分ほど、街の真ん中にある広場へは5分ほどと便利な立地。近くは日曜日は閑散としているが、平日は賑わいがあり、飲食店や食料品店も多い。部屋は古い建物なので天井が高く、それなりの広さがある。共用シャワー・トイレの部屋に宿泊したが、自室に洗面台があるのは良かった。スタッフはイタリア語中心だが、親切。'

'Die Lage des Hotel is wikrlich sehr zentral. Der Speisaal ist einfach atemberaubernd, das Frühstück ist sehr gut ( typisch italienisch mit Cornetto und Capuccino). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber auch schön eingerichtet. Die Bilder an den Wänden waren auch klasse.'
