The hotel is in a good location, easy walking distance to all the sights and it’s very close to the iconic Hotel National de Cuba, which is a must see! The staff are amazing, especially the front of house/reception, the pool staff on the roof deck, and the ground floor bar staff who were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good variety of local and continental options, buffet style with a range of drinks/juices. I used the gym and the pool, was a good experience. Taxi from the airport to hotel and return to the airport cost me £10 sterling each way, but of course the taxi guys do try to charge double that, so negotiate amicably and pay a fair price! I had a slightly scary experience on my final night at the hotel, when a strange man entered my room at 11.30pm! I had to chase him him and report him to reception downstairs. I was told he was the maintenance guy who accidentally went into my room. I was not given an apology by the manager nor offered any resolution, as I wasn’t able to sleep that night due to anxiety etc. Imagine if I had been a less able man, or even a female, I dread to think what could have and would have happened! The matter was reported to Trip.com who apologised but it should have been the hotel manager who spoke with me, and I felt disrespected that they still to date have not bothered to contact me! Overall, the hotel is nice, but it was just my end incident on the final night that messed up my experience.

Так получилось, что за короткое время я останавливался в отеле дважды, поэтому пишу два отзыва в один день. В общем, отель по-настоящему прекрасен - всё добротно, красиво, удобно и стильно (отель открыт с 1929 года и, в целом, сохранил свой стиль за небольшими исключениями). Изначально над ним работали основательно, и результат не подвёл - по настоящему хорошие вещи не теряют с возрастом свой класс, а наоборот, приобретают дополнительное достоинство, ну как коньяк или выдержанный ром). Добавляет ощущений (вернее, возводит их в степень) отношение персонала - душевное и неравнодушное. Встречал здесь гостей, которые всегда останавливаются в этом отеле, когда приезжают в Гавану. Видимо и я буду теперь таким человеком))

Мы жили в номере люкс. Номер отличный, просторный, с высоченными потолками, обставлен в неоколониальном стиле, с окнами в пол, ведущими на балкон. Номером, душевой комнатой, чистотой очень довольны. Завтраки, возможно, более скромные, чем мы ожидали, судя по отзывам, но нам вполне хватало: омлет с овощами, свежие помидоры, ветчина, сыр, тосты, сливочное масло, джем, кофе, фрукты. Отель в целом оставляет приятное впечатление: свежий ремонт, зеленый внутренний дворик. Расположен примерно в километре от бульвара Прадо. То есть от исторической части Гаваны добираться до отеля нужно по районам, в которых живут гаванцы со всем присущим этим местам колоритом. Мы предпочитали ходить через набережную, тем более что улица, на которой стоит отель, выходит прямиком на Малекон. С теплотой вспоминаем доброжелательную хозяйку отеля и её помощницу-дочку Бренду. 물론 국내 경제 호텔 조건과 마찬가지로 가격도 저렴합니다. 열악한 침구를 참을 수 없다면 조심하십시오. 그러나 위치는 훌륭합니다.
