"Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the Rose and Crown for helping us host mums wake on April 30th we had no idea how many people would be helping us celebrate her life, Sam and the team put on an amazing spread and kept it topped up for the whole afternoon, homemade fruit scones, cheese scones, sandwiches and cakes, tea coffee and of course a large range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Beautiful setting and views out the back in the lovely beer garden."

The staff was wonderful and helpful, the breakfast was very nice, cereal, yogurt, juices and wonderful jams, as well as other goodies. The price was well worth it, and it was quiet and restful. I loved it so much I have plans to return with a few months to share it with my family. Highly recommend this wonderful inn and the great people who run it."

"Bed very low and hard bedhead curved so pillows fall down behind. Breakfast advertised 17.50 when went they charged you for individual items which turns out very expensive. Parking only 7 cars free in underground carpark. Bar has awful draught beer if you like beer with lemon flavour your ok. Asked for sofa bed for other guest when arrived not set up or bedding. After paying alot of money for 1 night stay thought ot wd be good. Sorry but i would not book this hotel again"

"매우 더운 화창한 날에 여기에서 멋진 하룻밤을 보내십시오. 주차 배치와 큰 환영과 관련하여 유익합니다. 우리 방에는 선풍기와 에어컨이 있어 크게 감사했습니다. 메인 스트리트에 위치하여 약간의 교통 소음이 있지만 거의 시간에 너무 시끄럽지 않습니다. 방은 매우 편안한 침대가 잘 꾸며져 있고 장식되어 있어 매우 깨끗했습니다. 아침 식사는 반대편 자매 호텔에서 훌륭했고 07.30에서 일찍 시작하여 감사했습니다. Hexham은 많은 상점 바와 레스토랑이있는 매우 깨끗한 역사적인 도시이며 우리가 만난 모든 사람들은 매우 친절했습니다. 우리가 더 오래 머물지 못해서 실망했습니다."

We unfortunately couldn’t make breakfast on the first morning due to being unwell and Elizabeth was lovely enough to come and check on us and see if we needed anything. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. Fresh local produce in a lovely setting. All in all a fabulous stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again"

"Just had a wonderful stay at Brown Rigg Lodges to use as a base while we attended Kielder Winter Wonderland. Location was absolutely gorgeous, countryside views, peaceful and quiet. Kids loved looking at the nearby sheep in the fields. The lodges were well equipped with everything we needed, spacious, extremely clean and tidy with lovely bedding and towels. We had a wonderful time, would highly recommend a stay here. We will be returning guests. Thanks again! "
