페전트 인(The Pheasant Inn)

Stayed for one night so that we could attend Kielder Observatory. Everything about The Pheasant Inn was excellent. From the warm welcome, to the lovely cosy room, delicious food & super friendly staff (special shout-out to Melanie). Our room was perfect; comfortable, spacious, clean & toasty warm. We had an evening meal, which was really good. And then breakfast the next morning was great. And both were served in an extremely relaxed manner. Definitely recommend, cannot think of any negatives.

We stayed for one night and I wished we booked for longer. Room was quiet and clean with good quality bedding and views over countryside. Excellent breakfast and we had a very good evening meal. Very good location with easy access to Kielder Observatory.

This hotel/pub is in a beautiful setting and my room was a good size, comfortable, well decorated and equipped with a spacious bathroom. The service from all staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great choice for breakfast and our evening meal in the restaurant was superb.

The accommodation was great - new, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent (and full - a good indicator of its quality. The choice for breakfast was really good and filling!

Excellent highly recommend. I have stayed here now a few times the service and people are friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. The food is excellent rooms are extremely clean. This visit I stayed in the cottage extremely clean, lots of natural light coming in and a truly wonderful location easy to get to the main attractions such as Kielder Observatory, Kielder Water, Elf Kirk etc, and it is surrounded by natural beauty. This is by far my favourite place to stay when visiting Northumberland highly recommend and it is also amazing value for money.

Bedroom and ensuite very good. Breakfast could be improved upon - disappointing coffee , bread was standard brown or white sliced, only one jam on offer. Disappointing not to have locally sourced goodies. We stayed 3 nights particularly to explore around Kielder - the Pheasant location is very handy for that. Dinner options were good. Lamb and ox cheek were delicious. Staff friendly and helpful.

Warm and friendly greeting in arrival and throughout our stay. Bedroom was very comfortable and pleasantly furnished. Bathroom was fine with a very good and powerful shower. Food for dinner and breakfast was good with plenty of choice and, again, staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed as was near to the Kielder Observatory which is only a short drive away. Unexpectedly - as couldn't see this on any website - The Pheasant Inn has 2 EV chargers which was a boon for me as the Inn is somewhat remote. Would definitely stay again.

We received a warm welcome when we arrived. The bar area is just big enough with plenty of tables. The Pheasant lager was very good. We stayed for 2 nights and dined at the inn both nights. The food was excellent with a good choice from the menu. Staff were friendly but not intrusive. Accommodation is separate from the main inn building with some accessed by an external staircase. Our ensuite bedroom was comfortable (bed was a bit firm for my personal preference but not too bad) with plenty of tea and coffee available. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

First Class in every way! I could write a full Quality Assurance review as a retired Quality Auditor with much experience but simply do not have the time! Just trust these few simple words! Great Food and very clean and newly refurbished accomodation - Richard
