Location is great. Housekeeping excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. My bed was comfortable but my husband's bed was not (can feel the springs). The hall carpets very dirty. Lack of staff. Poor customer service at reception. The process was not explained for the pool towels and the parking card. We did not receive pool and parking cards in our envelope. The roof top pool is very nice. No staff there though. No bar men available. It is extremely hot and there's no shade provided. We asked for umbrellas but were told they don't do that in October even though it was mid 30s!! It was too hot to be there without shades!! The neighbouring hotel had umbrellas. With staff attendants always present. The wall plant, at the pool, was knocked over and soil was left on the pool deck. The soil spillage was still there 3 days later. Breakfast is included. It has a lot of variety. Cold foods great (fruit, breads, cakes, cheeses) but hot food was a low rating (eggs tasteless, bacon and pancakes sit too long and are hard),

호텔은 근처에 많은 레스토랑과 작은 슈퍼마켓이있는 Lido 지역에 있습니다. 시내 중심가 € 1.95 편도 및 공항으로 데려다 줄 수있는 버스 정상까지 도보로 단 3 분. 편도 € 5, 왕복 € 8. 도심까지 걸어가는 것은 20-30mins에 관한 것입니다. 포럼 마데이라 쇼핑몰까지 도보로 단 10분 거리입니다. 아침 식사는 과일, 샐러드, 요구르트, 햄, 계란, 빵, 시리얼의 다양한 선택으로 좋습니다. 실내, 실외 수영장과 체육관도 좋습니다. 우리는 간이 주방이 있는 바다와 수영장 전망 스튜디오에 머니다. 발코니는 훌륭합니다. 직원들은 정중하고 참을성이 있습니다. 단 하나의 콘, 31도의 에어컨 없음. 천장 선풍기만 있습니다.

호텔 시설 및 장비는 낡았지만 기본적으로 사용 요구를 충족하고 아침 식사는 매우 풍부하며 프런트 데스크에서 제공하는 방은 같은 유형의 가장 큰 것으로 간주되어야하지만 바닥이 너무 낮고 주차장이 있습니다. 시끄럽고, 연고에 파리가 덜 프론트 데스크 직원 미소, 의사 소통은 서리가 내린, 리조트 호텔은 이러면 안됩니다. 체크인 시 작은 에피소드도 있습니다. 프론트 데스크에서 주문을 호텔 우편함으로 보내달라고 요청해야 하며 그녀는 내 주문 번호를 가지고 있습니다. 말도 안돼!

Das Hotel Next in Funchal auf Madeira überzeugt durch seine ausgezeichnete Lage direkt am Wasser. Die Zimmer, obwohl geräumig, neigen dazu, aufgrund ihrer Dunkelheit eine etwas gedämpfte Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Trotzdem punktet das Hotel mit komfortablen Betten, moderner Einrichtung und ansprechenden Badezimmern. Das Frühstück, serviert in einer Art Kantine, weist eine begrenzte Auswahl auf und die Qualität könnte verbessert werden. Ein Highlight ist jedoch der Beach Club am Wasser, der, obwohl ohne Strand, mit einem Pool und direktem Zugang zum Meer über einen Steg positiv hervorsticht.

Ein ausgezeichnetes Hotel mit leckerem und vielfältigem Frühstück. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich. Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Old and worn, but good location. Terrible stupid service from reception, a little smile could have cost you, I think. When we checked in, it was abrupt and cutting. When we left, there was no thank you and have a good time. I was yelled at and called stupid when I asked about the bus times, it's been a long time since I've had such discomfort. The room was fine, facing the sea, but was a machine that was making noise all the time. Would choose a city view if I had to choose again, but probably won't come back. Poor lighting in both the hallway and the room, the smell of fish in the lift area wasn't that great either. Good breakfast with good service

I stayed in Windsor hotel for 4 nights during my stay. The hotel is well located in downtown but that’s the only positive aspect. First impression of the staff was not so good, not friendly and my booking was not in the system. The building is very old looking like the 80s or 90s. The room is not comfortable with old furniture and the bed could be much better. The AC is making noise all night even when turned off, a problem said to be structural on the building related with condensation. The restaurant downstairs have good food, but the breakfast was terrible, very basic with no variety. I would suggest you to look for another place to stay to make your stay more pleasant in such a nice island.

This is genuinely one of the best hotel stays I've had. The location itself is wonderful, sitting on a hilltop looking down and across into Madeira. It's beautifully peaceful and you get a sense of calm and quiet. The facilities are great, choice of restaurant, great breakfasts, extensive gardens to walk in as well as events over the week for you to join (or not). The staff are absolutely incredible, genuinely made the experience fantastic and so special.

This hotel may have been a 4 star in the 60s or 70s but it definitely isn't one now in my opinion! The ”spa” is not useable! The balcony in the room was large with an awesome view but was filthy and in need of a serious pressure washing! The room furniture is adequate but very basic and old! The room itself was kept clean but is definitely showing its age and there were numerous water stains on the ceilings and walls with some moldy areas. The hotel in general is tired and worn outI! The quality of the breakfast is embarrassingly bad in every imaginable way! The service and food in the dining room in the evening was good. The very few staff at the hotel are nice and seem to be doing the best they can under the circumstances. The location is breathtaking and worth a visit but I would recommend just doing a day trip and avoiding this sorry establishment.

The super staff couldn't have been more accommodating, from reception through to housekeeping. The restaurant was elegant and beautifully appointed. The room and en suite were spacious – particularly for one – and the bed so comfortable I found myself barely able to wake up in the mornings. Its quiet setting in lush, tranquil gardens makes for a peaceful, gentle holiday atmosphere, yet with good access to local buses, challenging golf course, hikes and a lively Sunday market.
