도리솔 부간빌라(Buganvilia Studio Hotel)

I would recommend this hotel. Cleanliness. Stable Wi Fi. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is ok and costs 8.5 EUR. The gym is small, although it has all the necessary equipment (a reservation is necessary at the reception). But. There was no water a full day commencing morning time, so I was unable even to clean my teeth. The housekeeper lady just entered my room without knocking in the morning.

The hotel is in Lido area with plenty of restaurants and small super markets near by. Only 3 mins walk to bus top where can bring you to City Center €1.95 single one way and airport. €5 single one way, €8 return. Walking to City center is about 20-30mins. Only 10mins walk to Forum Madeira shopping mall. Breakfast is good with many choices of fruit, salad, yogurt, ham, eggs, bread, cereals. Indoor, outdoor pool and gym are nice too. We stay in sea and swimming pool view studio with kitchenette. The balcony is wonderful. Staffs are polite and patient. Only one con, no air conditioning in 31 degrees. Only have a ceiling fan.

wow best location and great apartment to stay, lot of restaurants around and things to do. studio flat has the best view from the top. staff were friendly and brekafst has some many options to eat. indoor outdoor swimming pool and gym facilities were good to use and free for everyone. recommended and definitely will stay again there.

Rooms comfortable and very clean, showers good service very good parking ample and a great location, next to pubs and Restaurants and with amazing views.

Hotel limpo e agradavel. A única parte menos agradavel é o cartao de estacionamento nao funcionar e perdemos algum tempo, temos que estar a espera que nos abrem cada vez que queremos estacionar. E nao nos deram posibilidade de troca de cartao.. Tendo nós que nos conformar com este inconveniente.

前台服務態度很不耐煩，衞生很差，設施很差，早餐很差，真是非常失望。

Getting to the hotel was extremely easy on the Airport bus . It’s €6 one way or €10 return but must be used within a week . The stop number is 15 I received a warm welcome from Alexandra . I arrive early at about 11am . I was totally aware that check in was 3pm so there is no reason at all to kick up a fuss like some people are inclined to do . I just left my bag in reception and walked around Lido Area , went for a wine , walked around Pingo ( supermarket) and looked at trips available in the many travel agencies. I was in a high floor overlooking the port of Funchal which is actually what I asked for when I emailed my request to the hotel . The room is on the basic side and a tad outdated but it’s comfortable The door locks with a key ( rather than a card ) so as a solo lady traveller I did feel a tad uncomfortable with this at times . The kitchenette consists of a fridge , microwave and 2 hobs My balcony had the sun in the morning and shaded in the evening The room has no air conditioning, only a fan . The room was warm in April so I’m sure it would be like a sauna in July and august The pool area was ok . Lacked a bit of atmosphere so I would use the sister hotels’s pool . This one had a restaurant with lovely staff and great coffee . There was hardly any British folk in Buganville hotel so I used to go to VidaMar hotel . I used their pool area and chatted to lovely fellow Brits . Thank you VidaMar , you have a lovely hotel . Breakfast is served 07.30 to 10.30 Lovely coffee and fruit . However was disappointed to see bacon in the scramble eggs ( I’m vegetarian) But I loved the pastries and the potato croquettes. If you are vegan there is a vegan restaurant 1 min walk down the hill on right . All the bus stops are down the hill opposite Santander Bank Bus 1,2 and 4 will take you into Funchal for €2 I went on a lovely horse ride in the Levadas and taxi was €60 return Buses and taxis are good however I wished I rented a car. Parking at hotel is €7 a day Friendly , lovely island. I’d recommend and turn in a heartbeat
