"We came off-season amid bleak weather forecasts looking for a place to stay in Evia en route to the western part of the island. The drive uphill to the hotel was lovely. On arriving we were met by Panagiotis, the owner and manager who welcomed us warmly and embraced our children like family. Friendly, straightforward and just plain charming, he also gave us some tips for places to eat and visit nearby and later phoned the port in Agiokampo to inquire about ferry timetable for us. At breakfast next morning we were surprised to be the only guests, and were heaped with coffee, breads, rolls, jams, honey, joghurt, butter and more - all fresh and tasty. The rooms were like the host - charming, simple but with all amenities provided. The upper floor has full-length balconies with a fine view of Steni and the surrounding hills - we had a lovely hike up one of them - but even in rainy weather it was nice to stay in our rooms and in front of the fireplace in the dining area. The entire stay felt cheerful, homey and relaxing with more than a touch of 70's vintage from the decor. For those who want a five star palace a la Riviera - look elsewhere.. Very highly recommended by us, even or maybe especially in early Springtime ! Thank you vey much Panagiotis!!"

"The Palmariva hotel is perfectly located in Evia island, close to Eretria harbor and Chalkida, the main city of the island. The hotel is perfect for a family and offer a wife choice of services like car renting, sea sports, tour operators to visit the region like Delphes and Athens and so on. The beach is very quiet with a beautiful sea sight and both beaches and a wide swiming pool. The restaurant is very good and propose a new daily menus. The hotel staff is very kind and professional, always ready to help to make your experience as confortable as possible. I would like to express my warm gratitude to Paris, an absolute gentleman of the hotel, always kind, smiley and ready to help to make your stay and vacations unforgettable. I also thank all the Fram crew for their kindness. I will surely come back to this beautiful island. Efkaristo Palmariva and Yassas !!!"

"위치는 아름다운 에보안 만과 해변이 내려다 보이는 언덕 꼭대기에 매우 좋습니다. 서비스는 좋고 호텔 외곽은 녹색이며 쾌적합니다. 객실에는 해변을 향한 멋진 발코니가 있습니다. 수영장은 좋지만 어린이 수영장은 없습니다. 객실은 괜찮지 만 약간 작으며 침대는 1.60 m입니다. 너비. 욕실은 견딜 수 없으며 너무 작으며 두 사람이 사용할 곳이 없습니다. 그런 작은 욕실을 본 적이 없습니다. 아침 식사는 다양한 음식으로 훌륭하지만 저녁 식사로 메인 식당의 음식은 맛이없고 좋지 않았습니다. 우리는 외부 바에서 가벼운 것을 먹었습니다."

"We did not book this hotel but, like a number of English holidaymakers, were transferred from others we presumed were closed as the season staggered to an end. We were lucky as we had 36 hours’ notice: others were told on arrival at Athens airport! As this had given us time to read the reviews on TripAdvisor, we were quite concerned at what we would find but I’m pleased to say it was a wholly positive experience. We were in bungalow 426, a clean, comfy base. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient, as were all front-line members. The hotel was quiet - certainly not much more than one-third full - and this was to our advantage. There were no queues at meal times, no dishes ran short, and most were warm, if not always hot. Served buffet-style, the menu was pretty stable but we managed a different combination on six occasions. The standard was good and we were very pleased. With so few residents, there were plenty of free sun beds around the pool and on the beach; whilst the music was non-stop, the volume was appropriate, unobtrusive and from our era - the ‘60s and early ‘70s!! The town is a twenty minutes stroll away along the beach front with a wide range of shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and, in similar circumstances, would recommend in to all."

POSITIVE = Perfect location...Very nice rooms...Excellent service...friendly stuff ...specially the manager Mrs. Dimitra, and Mrs. Nicolia,,makes the customer feel valued... NEGATIVE = Poor food selection and medium quality about taste..also there is not at all Greek food...except the salad. and fish...You have to improve this... the tourist who comes in Greece want to taste Greek food.. not Italian linguini ...etc... Also it is the only hotel who has no free water / tea / coffee into the suite apartments... Thank you for the beautiful holidays you offer us.."

"Very low value for money (265 EUR for a family room) Family room is small and doesn’t even have a table inside for kids to draw or play. Balcony with supposingly sea view is in between walls and with terraces blocking the view. Bathroom had a sewage smell. The shower door was getting jammed and wouldn’t close Breakfast is decent but with approx 50% of the items being sugary. Room had not mosquito nets (hotel claims it’s because of local building legislation) which forced us to sleep with windows closed as otherwise mosquitos were coming in. Room was accumulating a lot of heat during the day. On the last night we chose to sleep with open windows and around 1:30am a cockroach climbed on our bed and walked on my arm. After describing the incident upon check out, the hotel didn’t have the courtesy to offer a small compensation."

"This was the fourth or fifth time that we have visited this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, family owned and in a great location next to the beach and overlooking the bay. Great attention to detail, spotlessly clean and super helpful, friendly staff. There is a pool at the front of the hotel located in attractive grounds. Fabulous breakfasts - a variety of hot and cold food beautifully presented. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Will definitely not be my last visit to the Anastasia!"

"Tzanis is just few minutes walk to Molos beach in Skyros. It's a very comfortable, clean 4 star resort. Staff is so helpful and kind. The pool is very nice, lying and spending time at poolside is very joyful. There is also towels and pool bar so you can order cocktails club sandwich, pizza, drinks... There is an open buffet breakfast which is small but enough. Everyday they serve some local sweet and salty pastries. The rooms have balcony and clothes hanger is so thoughtful. Since the hotel is quite new, the bathroom and room facilities are good."

"Me, my wife and two-year-old son had a wonderful stay at Anemonisia. We had our private house unit which was simply perfect for our needs. Everything was well maintained. Spacious, exceptionally clean, daily housekeeping, fresh towels provided every time. Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge. Bathroom with bath tub, hot water and washing machine. You can close the window lids and keep the inside of the house quite cool, despite the heat outside. Owners are exceptionally welcoming, kind and assistive! We had a great stay and we couldn't ask for more! Looking forward to staying there next year!"

"Just returned from a wonderful stay! The property is literally 30 steps from the sea, with crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views of both the blue horizon and a lush green mountain. Ideally located just five minutes from the town center. Highly recommended!"
