I was looking for a cheap basic hotel as near as possible to the centre of Estepona, and the Hotel Mediterraneo far exceeded my expectations. For a 1* hotel it was surprisingly nice inside, and appeared to have been recently decorated. The location is perfect, directly on the beachfront, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful old town centre, a large number of bars and restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The harbour is around 2km away, 25 minutes walk along the coast. The hotel has a 24 hour reception, which was welcome, and made the hotel feel safe and secure. The front door is locked at night, so you need to ring the doorbell to gain access if you return late, but this is not an issue as there is always a member of staff at the reception. All of the staff I encountered during my stay were very friendly and helpful - after check-out I was not due to travel home until late in the evening, and the staff let me leave my suitcase at reception during the day. A lift services all floors. My room was of a reasonable size, and despite booking a single room got a full double room, on the top (5th) floor of the hotel. The room had a powerful air conditioning system with a working thermostat that included a timer function, so the room was always a pleasant temperature. There was no safe available in the room for valuables. There was no fridge/minibar, but the reception area had vending machines offering drinks and snacks. Otherwise, the central location means there are supermarkets and shops nearby. The bathroom was spacious and included a walk-in shower, with an overhead 'rainfall' style shower, as well as a detachable handheld showerhead. Shower soap and hand soap were provided. I think the drain was slightly clogged, as the water did drain quite slowly, but not slowly enough to cause any issues. The room was clean and tidy, and was cleaned daily by the housekeepers whilst I was out. Considering it is a 1* hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel, and would not hesitate to stay here again. Amazing value for money and one to consider for cheap but high quality accommodation.

내 파트너와 나는 어제 H10 Estepona Palace에 4 박 동안 머물렀다. 방은 발코니가있는 좋은 크기였으며 깨끗했습니다. 표준 더 블룸이므로 불만이 없습니다. 몇 가지 것들이 장소를 조금 낮추게했습니다. 주된 것은 음식입니다. 우리는 침대와 아침 식사 만 했으므로 점심 / 저녁 식사에 대해 언급 할 수 없지만 아침 뷔페 음식은 항상 추웠습니다. 제 파트너는 요리사가 낸 새 쟁반에서 스크램블드 에그를 먹었고, 차가웠습니다. 베이킹 콩은 항상 기운이 없었고 오믈렛과 튀긴 계란 역이 있었지만 요리사는 1 명 밖에 없으므로 항상 나이를 기다려야했습니다. 다른 것은 오전 10 시까 지 체육관이 열리지 않았다는 것입니다. 우리는 시설을 최대한 활용하고 아침 운동을하고 싶었습니다. 문을 닫고 오전 10 시부 터 오후 7 시까 지 만 열었습니다. 마지막으로 방에 다리미가 있거나 리셉션에서 이용할 수있는 시설이 없었습니다. 유일하게 이용할 수 있는 것은 유로10 환불 가능한 보증금으로 스팀커를 빌리는 것이었지만, 꽤 낸것이었다. 4성급 호텔의 경우 다리미와 다리미판을 빌릴 수 있을 것으로 예상했다. 우리가 9 월 말에 방문했을 때, 온도는 lovely했던 약 20 대 중반이었다. 그러나 외부의 수영장은 거의 견딜 수 없었던 지점까지 얼어 붙었다. 수영장이 약간 가열되기를 원했을 것입니다! 전반적으로 우리는 3 성급이라고 말할 것입니다. 직원들은 친절했고 호텔은 깨끗하고 조용했습니다. 다음에 우리는 아마이 지역 주변에 더 많은 일이 있기 때문에 Marbella / Puerto Banus에 조금 더 가까이 머물 것입니다.
