The hotel is very beautiful, but the service is questionable. Nothing is included. If you want a wine glass, it costs 4,500 pesos. If you want them to open your bottle, that’s another 4,500 pesos. Even eating in your room costs 5,000 pesos — and that’s just for the option to eat there, not including the food or service. Basically, everything you want to do comes with an extra charge. The only things included are the overnight stay and breakfast.

Booked here by our travel company but wouldn’t have chosen it as it’s on the edge of town well away from shops restaurants and other services. Shuttle bus service is not frequent.Nice location with a partial view of the lake. We arrived after a medical emergency and the receptionist was outstanding, responding to our needs quickly and efficiently. The rooms are comfortable if a little small. Some noise from conversations and tv in neighbouring rooms. The restaurant was fine for dinner with an interesting adequate choice of options and wine- very good helpful staff. Breakfast was also good but dominated by cakes and pastries. The lobby area was spacious, comfortable and very warm.

Lovely hotel. Check in was efficient and friendly. Staff service was excellent throughout the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and quiet with everything we needed. I was especially pleased to have a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was very good as was the meal choice at dinner. The hotel offers a bus shuttle in and out of town. We reserved places but nobody checked our reservation. Luckily we did get seats on the bus but it would be frustrating to book and then find that you didn’t get a seat. The bar closes at 8. Maybe we were there in low season. We would have loved to retire to the bar for a nightcap after dinner but that wasn’t possible.

Great service and helpful staff! With all the pickups and excursions, the front desk was so helpful at making sure everyone got going in the morning! The bar area was great for lunch or an early dinner and had gluten free options. The breakfast was great with a variety of delicacies. Clean and spacious rooms with beautiful views. It’s out of town a ways but the hotel provides shuttle service.

We stayed at this hotel during a family trip and it felt like a little oasis of peace and calm. The rooms are enormous and the hotel also has plenty of nice areas to sit, all with views on the lake. There is also a very good restaurant, which we ended up eating at each nice. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. We had an issue with one of our tours and they went above and beyond to help us resolve it. The only con is that the hotel is right on the edge of town. They do offer a free shuttle, although a taxi into the center is quite cheap. After visiting the center, however, I didn't really feel like I was missing out all that much.

The staff, the proximity to the lake, the location, the food, the cleanliness, the helpfulness and the free shuttle to town, make this a great choice for a hotel in Calafate! The breakfast was sumptuous and on the day we were going to the glaciers, they packed us a terrific lunch to take with us! The rooms are just right. TV enabled us to watch the American Super Bowl! The shuttle is perfect for going into town. The staff always has great suggestions on other restaurants and things to do. But, you would be missing a great meal if you didn't eat an evening dinner in the hotel restaurant. I had the Mediterranean pasta and it was perfect. Wonderful wine list and great desserts and breads made on premises. The outdoor spaces were inviting and provided a great place for stargazing one night. All in all, a great property with great value.

Great hotel and staff. Fantastic service and knowledgeable staff. The views are absolutely stunning and the hotel is always warm and inviting. The rooms are great very modern and have amazing en-suite facilities. There is a free transport bus into the main town on a regular basis

This hotel has great bones and good layout but some of the furnishings are a bit tired and showing wear (thread barren). Staff on the other hand were friendly and helpful. Although it is on the outskirts of town, they did have a free shuttle however the first one ran at 12:15 and many of the stores in town closed from 1 to 4 pm. Great to get out to a place for dinner or to exchange money. Dinner at the hotel however was fabulous; great presentation, taste and service. Good views and nice and quiet.

The hotel installations are really comfy and the personnel is super friendly. It includes a nice restaurant for dinner and a smaller cafe for snacks and launch. The breakfast is included with the room rate and offers a good selection of pastries, bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and gluten free options. Food quality is very good for all meals. Rooms are super clean and nice though a bit small.
