카시스 호텔

We booked this hotel, not seeing the comment on the nightclub... That beig said, the staff was nice. The room was OK with comfy beds. The shower was a bit old, but clean. And the location is more than OK, like 2Min from the sea and most of the restaurants and bars. But I agree that you have to take your earplugs. The doors are heavy and noisy, with poor phonic isolation. You have a bar in the street behind that close around 1am. If you sleep in these rooms, it's still OK with ear plugs. But indeed, if you sleep in the rooms in the front, they are ABOVE another bar and a nightclub. So it might be very noisy. But I cannot confirm. If you are a clubber, I think it's more than OK :). The breakfeast was OK

The Best Western Hotel in Cassis has a great location, close to the beach and right in the heart of Cassis. The staff are also very helpful and friendly and were able to provide first aid after my partner had got a small graze from walking in a rocky area in the nearby national park. The breakfast was wonderful and we ate outside on the veranda surrounded by Jasmin plants! Thank you & we will definitely be back.

우리는 전화로 1박을 막바지 예약을 했습니다. 반대편의 접수원은 매우 친절하고 도움이 되었습니다. 항상 좋은 시작이었습니다. 이 호텔의 주요 특징은 확실히 온수 수영장입니다. 추워지고 비가 조금 내리기 때문에 우리는 저녁 19시에 도착했습니다. 그러나 아이들(10세와 12세)은 여전히 섭씨 28도 수영장을 즐겼습니다. 그들은 남쪽에서 5 일간의 여행의 하이라이트를 발견했습니다 ... 패밀리 룸은 아이들을위한 소파 베드가있는 괜찮은 쪽이었습니다. 우리는 성인 1 인당 16 유로로 아침 식사를했습니다 (아이들에게는 보완되었습니다). 그 가격에 기본적이지만 공정한 선택입니다. 요거트를 위한 신선한 딸기, 훈제 연어도 있습니다(기본보다 조금 더 많을 수 있습니다:). 아침 식사 장소에서 멋진 전망은 무료로 제공됩니다(멀리 수영장과 바다). 호텔은 항구에서 도보로 3분 거리에 있으며 Les Calanques 하이킹 시작 지점과 가깝습니다. 우리는 다음 Cassis 여행에서 La Rade로 확실히 돌아올 것입니다(또는 호텔에 머물 수 있도록 다음 남쪽 여행에서 Cassis를 선택하십시오).

Réception franchement froide, démoralisant. Après avoir réservé fin Mars (soit 2 mois à l'avance), et avoir suivi toutes les instructions de communication -- j'ai prévu l'heure avec 2 mises à jour qu'Isabelle sache la minute exacte de notre arrivée comme elle m'avait demandée pour qu'elle vienne à notre rencontre, mais j'étais obligée de frapper puis patienter devant la porte d'entrée (fermée à clé), puis elle m'a accusé de venir avec 3 personnes alors que je n'ai réservé que pour 2 - c'est faux, mais elle insistait, puis m'a fait croire qu'elle allait ”essayer de nous accommoder” (non, mais ça va pas du tout)- puis s'est rendue compte qu'elle a eu tort, puis m'a accusé de venir avec un enfant sans prévenir (insultant à ma belle-fille, petite mais pas tant que ça). Elle nous dit que nous n'aurons pas de services ménage (facturés). Douche froide après des semaines de stresse maxi (examens du CAP Cuisine) et une longue et fatiguant journée de voyage, et l'espoir d'arriver enfin dans ma ville préférée et connaitre un peu de calme, peut-être au bord de la piscine, mais elle était franchement méchante, rancunière, malveillante. Nous n'osions même pas aller à la piscine de crainte de commettre une erreur imprévisible du genre, oh ! fallait mettre qu'un maillot noire et non pas marron, ou dieu sait quoi. En partant elle a récupéré les clés sous une pluie assez abondante, mais quelques instants plus tard je n'avais pas moyen d'ouvrir le portail car je n’avais pas mémorisé le code n'ayant utilisé que le bip sur le jeu de clés. Retour à pied à la réception, fermée à clé, pas de réponse quand j'ai frappé, retour à la voiture qui tournait devant le portail, quand j'ai tel à celle-ci, qui a répondu qu'au bout de 6 ou 7 sonneries, pour me demander seulement si je ne me souvenais pas du code (ben, non, en effet), avant qu’elle ne décide à l'ouvrir (elle n'aurait jamais pensé auparavant qu'une fois le client avait rendu les clés qu'ouvrir le portail sera un minimum, surtout lorsqu'il pleut?)

This hotel isnt perfect. It isn't fancy. It isn't state of the art. But if a beautiful pool is your number one concern - this place more than fits the bill! Breakdown... Room: Pros - Nice and spacious, comfortable bed, always kept clean, and a decent sized bathroom to boot . The large balcony is a great option for late night drinks too! Cons - The toilet is in a small cubicle room separate from the bathroom... Which could, err, get a bit smelly given there was no real way to, ahem, air it out. There's also no ironing board or iron in the room, so I had to iron my shirts in their storage/conference room, which wasnt ideal. Hotel: The website pretends the hotel is far fancier than it is, and it's in fact a very relaxed, down to earth kind of scene. Pros - The staff are VERY friendly and kind. So kind in fact, that one of the owners gave us a lift to the train station so we wouldn't miss our train. What a hero! We love him! Every single one also made an effort to speak English with us (far more effort than we did to speak French!) which we were very grateful for. 24 hour reception means there's always someone around to help you out, and we quite enjoyed the key system, designed so that you'll never lose them! Cons- The breakfast set-up was nice and adequate, although I agree with other reviewers that it's lack of hot food makes the price a bit of an eyebrow raiser. Could two people eat for cheaper than 30 euros in Cassis centre? Potentially, but we chose convenience over cost, so can't really complain too much! Pool: The crowning glory of this hotel, and the spot that we and almost every other guest seemed to congregate... Our valhalla! Our Eden! Our little slice of heaven! Pros- The only thing my girlfriend wanted from this holiday was a nice, relaxing pool area with a sun lounger. So I could have wept with joy the first time we walked up the steps to the Royal's secluded pool area. With ample loungers, pretty water features and the perfectly positioned sun trap, we spent every day of our stay here from 10 - 5. As did so many other guests. Cons - A lack of food or bar service just stops it from being perfect. Other reviews from previous years suggest this was usual practice at one point, so not sure what's happened there? Location: Perfect, just an 8 minute walk from the main harbour of Cassis!

The positives: - The outdoor pool area is truly spectacular, lots of lounge chair options to enjoy the view - Pool options and ocean options (swell and weather permitting) - Very clean room with a comfortable bed - Staff at Rocco very friendly, the environment at Rocco is very pleasant and the food and wine enjoyable - Good communication from concierge in advance of the trip regarding services - A ten or so minute walk into town The negatives/ opportunities for improvement - No real service in the pool outdoor areas. We generally had to ask for towels. No explanation or check in on whether we wanted to use the ocean facilities, no check in on whether we wanted to order something to eat or drink or whether that was possible, no water offered. Some of the chairs are looking tired. For a hotel of this rating I would expect at least an explanation of the ocean facilities and water service - Service felt a little cold in general and was often slow. - Breakfast service was hit and miss, there seemed to be optional hot food judging by a placard on the table but no explanation on how to ask for it and the chef seemed to not arrive until much late in the breakfast service. Some issues with flies around the cheese and cold meats section. - I believe our car was parked outside for our stay of 4 nights judging by the dirt and dust on it when we picked it up. This was not transparent. - advertised partial ocean view was non existent. Some better sound proofing would be of benefit.
