호텔 & 스파 드 라 플라주 -마호가니(Hotel de La Plage - Mahogany)

What a beautiful and welcoming hotel. The views from my room were breathtaking. The morning breakfast service was excellent and the front desk staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was seamless. We will be back!!! Look at these views!!!

It is very rare for me write a review and when I do it is for good reason…either excellent or the opposite. In this case we could not praise the hotel highly enough. The staff, the setting, the breakfast, the sea view and the cleanliness of the room, all perfect. My only reservation of giving them such a review is that it might make it more difficult to get a room next time we want one!

The perfect hotel for Cassis! Right on the beach and a short walk to the lovely bars and restaurants around the port The hotel has a very laid back feel. The breakfast was reasonable and a beer on the terrace early evening was splendid The hotel staff were very attentive and welcoming

Great place to stay! Beautiful property with some amazing views. Close enough to downtown with a 10-15min walk and lots of restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend!

The right room is everything here! We moved on our second night from the small standard room to a bigger room with the sea view. It was a big upgrade in space, decor, furniture and even amenities. Splurge on the larger rooms facing the sea. You will not regret it. Trust me. The terrace in room 100 was spectacular. You could sit there all day watching the water, reading, and relaxing. If you get too hot, put on your aqua socks and just walk across the street for a swim in the Mediterranean sea. The hotel is perfectly situated on a little cove with smooth river rock like stones beach (no sand) where the water is refreshingly cold, clam and clear and there are no waves. There are a couple of restaurants right there for lunch and dinner and countless more a 10 minute walk away into town.

The mark of a good hotel and better staff is how they deal when something goes wrong. We checked into our room, but due to a power surge the air conditioner in our room was broken. The hotel manager immediately provided us with a significant discount and then upgraded us the next day to a suite with no additional charge. An AC breaking is out of their control, but the manager handled the situation perfectly and instead of a disappointing visit we had a fabulous time. The view and balconies are absolutely incredible, make sure you have a balcony facing the water. The standard rooms are small, but you didn't visit Cassis to hang out in your room. The suites are spacious and super comfortable. While there is no pool, there is an inlet just across the street with a clear and calm waters to swim. A short walk into town with plenty of restaurants and shops. A lovely stay!

Not the first time in Cassis. We returned to walk the G98. Hotel Mahogany is perfectly situated to start the hike early, have a lovely night on the port the night before but more important, to begin it with a full stomach. The breakfast buffet is for champions! Special thanks to the accommodating staff who found glue for my hiking boots that were on the last end, plus were happy to print out documents necessary for my work. Last but not least, I love the morning swim in the sea from the little beach infront of the hotel. Merci! On revient!

Hotel de la plage Mahogany is a charming hotel with a fantastic location and stunning ocean views. Beach access (and beach bar) is directly across the road from the hotel. Our room was comfortable and stylish and the staff were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a delicious, gourmet buffet of fresh breads, fruits, meats and cheeses. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. A short walk to the romantic harbor with plenty of restaurant options, you can also rent kayaks to explore the Calanques or walk 30 minutes to the first Calanque (by sidewalk and trail)
