Just got back from a 4 night stay with my two children age 9 and 5, we arrived around 2 pm had we were quickly checked in and was put in a 1 bedroom apar**ent which was fine very clean and spacious looking over the splash pool only thing about the room I didn't like was the lack of privacy for the toilet but everything else fine , the restaurant,snack bar and bars are all excellent food does get a little repetitive but you can always find something to eat all day long so you won't go hungry , all the staff were brilliant and nothing too much trouble my children loved the entertainment at night and kids club and the games room also the splash pools even though it was still a little cold. The location is brilliant right next too the beach which is beautiful also plenty shops restaurants and bars, don't be put off by the negative reviews some people just like to moan I paid 600 for 4 nights all inclusive and was made up and would definitely return .

Check-in was smooth and efficient, even though we arrived in the early hours of the morning. The hotel itself is quite basic and would benefit from a refurbishment. Our room was simple but clean, with comfortable beds and pillows that ensured a good night's sleep. The aircon was poor and it did get really hot in the room when sleeping. The food was bland, as expected for the price, offered little variety, with the same dishes served most days. However, there was something for everyone. We chose to dine out every night, as there are some fantastic restaurants nearby. A major concern was the music played throughout the day, which contained explicit language and swearing. This is not suitable for children, and while it didn’t affect us on this trip, we would have complained if our children had been with us. Another issue was the pool, which closes at 6 pm, but the lifeguard begins to put up the fence around 5:30 pm. This poses a safety hazard, as it would be difficult to exit the pool quickly in case of an emergency. The beach is just a short walk away, with sunbeds available for around 8 euros each. The sea is perfect for snorkeling, with plenty of little fish to see. The marina, which is an 8-minute walk from the hotel, is beautiful and well worth a visit. Overall, while the area was excellent, we would not return to this hotel.

마지막 분 단독 여행자, 나는 마요르카에서 첫 번째 유럽의 따뜻한 날을 즐기고 싶었습니다. 나는 무엇을해야할지 잘 연구하지 않았으므로 Cal D'or에서 휴식을 취하고 싶었습니다.이 호텔은 완벽합니다! 버스 정류장에서 50mt, 큰 작은 칼라에서 3 블록, 메인 스트리트 W 상점 레스토랑 바에서 100mt, 방은 흠이없고 헤어 드라이어, 흡연하고 싶다면 발코니, 수영장 (수영장을 절대 사용하지 않지만하는 사람들에게는) 가격이 믿을 수 없으며 기본 아침 뷔페가 훌륭합니다. 모든 친구들에게 이것을 추천합니다. 발코니에 가까운 레몬 나무를 좋아했습니다!

If you’re all inclusive or have a drinks package you’ll be avoided by servers They’re only interested in guests that are paying per drink. They’ll also try to up sell wine but won’t be able to tell you why it’s better. It is very money grabbing, despite overcharging you for what is, at best a 3 star (because it has lifts). Although not enough lifts to cater for the amount of guests duped into staying. I asked for a water and the server incorrectly yelled ‘no, you have to pay!’ Even though I was sporting the drink package wristband. Can we take a moment to discuss why they would charge someone for water? If you are all inclusive or have the drinks included you are given just normal water from a jug. if not, you have to have a small glass bottle of mineral water for something like €3. WATER! The rooms are dated and dirty with mouldy tiles and gritty floors. I had to wipe my feet before getting in to bed. The bathroom door was rotten. We requested a room high up but were given street level so spent all night listening to drunks and bin lorries. These rooms are not soundproofed at all. I don’t drink but because my husband does, we had to both pay for the drinks package at dinner for the entirety of the stay. Bearing in mind you’re lucky you’re served one drink unless you’re paying in full, this was a rip off. Food is strange and I don’t mean Spanish, I’m not that kind of person. I mean very odd concoctions that you couldn’t build a meal from. Do you like those Pasta n Sauce sachets? Yes?Great, then you’ll love the guy that makes pasta. Mystery meat? No problem. The spa is terrible. Jacuzzi is more like an icy plunge pool, colder than the sea, filthy and the jets are broken. The steam room was also broken. Awful. The only chance of a sun bed is if you pay €30 for a day on the beach sun beds or ‘Balinese beds’. The ‘Balinese beds’ by the pool are always in the shade and quite rightly, always empty, The beach beds started off at €15 a day which we didn’t mind as it was peaceful but they soon doubled the price of these when they saw the opportunity. All in all very overrated and disappointing. As if they haven’t duped you enough into paying 5 star prices for a 3 star hotel, they’re ready to squeeze every last cent out of you during your stay. As if this isn’t enough, a few people have reported thefts from their rooms. Recommend the area but stay somewhere else. Don’t be tricked by the Alua soul Cala d’or fan club, I think it’s been set up by the hotel or by someone that feels they shouldn’t be the only one to have experienced this hovel.

Stepping in through the entrance I thought I had entered a spa ,tranquil , contemporary reception which smelt amazing .reception efficiently processed the necessary paperwork whilst we sipped a welcoming drink ,phew just breathe. No need to pay extra for towels or use of safe this is included. The Tucan is ideally situated a few steps from shops and beautiful beach Cala gran . We stayed in a third floor room with a side sea view. A bottle of water was in the small fridge which we used to keep our own drinks in . Tv had good reception with English channels wi fi was reliable . The bed was large and comfortable and I slept really well .air con seemed to work really well although in October not as hot as summer months. Bathroom waterfall shower was really lovely ,hairdryer was powerful and quick to dry my hair.room kept spotless by the team of maids that worked tirelessly to keep everywhere gleaming. Food was delicious ,breakfast amazing variety of hot and cold food.lunch at the snack bar was restaurant quality absolutely spot on. Dinner was varied and a different theme available each night , a huge choice and the desserts were absolutely delicious , best I have had at an a.I. Hotel. The pool area is clean and has multiple sun bed s, Bali beds never overcrowded a nice atmosphere with the animator friendly and inclusive but not over zealous.the small gym and spa were clean and the jacuzzi relaxing. Evening entertainment was easy going usually a vocalist and it everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves, helped no doubt by the unwavering efforts of the bar staff who worked tirelessly to ensure everyone’s glass was never empty for more than a moment .remembering what you you like to drink and delivered with a smile despite being so busy. All the staff at the hotel are so engaging and helpful and make you feel so welcome they are what makes the Tucan fly above other hotels I have stayed at .if you stay you will want to return again and again ……
