"The apartment is located near the pedestrian area of ​​the historic center, about 10-15 minutes to Bastione San Remi and 20-25 minutes to the port where there are many good restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet, with a bus stop very close by. Fabrizio, the owner, was always in touch with us whenever we needed information or assistance. Check-in was very convenient, with codes, as was check-out, since we left very early. We booked the least expensive room; it wasn't large, but it was very clean and had everything we needed. We were also very pleased to find little gifts like homemade cookies and sweets in the cafe. The bed was very comfortable! We found the room spotlessly clean every day. We can definitely recommend it!"

"Owner slow to respond and not helpful. Located in ZTL area, no details given, also pedestrianised area, very restricted parking, large fines. One advert for two different apartments, one at the front, other at the back. We were given the one at the back, only one window with natural light but facing a dirty courtyard and tall wall. All other windows had no clear glass and faced a hallway or dirty shaft. I was afraid to see mice or rats. More than 40 stairs, very difficult to lift suitcase. I had a shower and the floor flooded, the jacuzzi is a bath as no bubbles. Can only watch TV from the bed, this is not an apartment but rooms made to pretend to be an apartment. Very soft and old mattress, the wooden bed last moved, poor quality. Very good location but book somewhere else."

"AVOID THIS PROPERTY! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE OWNERS. The room itself was just ok but no WIFI in the bedroom - it only worked in the entranceway which was a big nuisance. The hosts are horrible and try to scam you. After we checked out I realised I had left something in the room but was unable to get back in as we had put the keys in the drop box already. I waited outside the main apartment entrance whilst I got in contact with the hosts who were going to send a housekeeper out, but while I was waiting a guest from one of the other bedrooms arrived so I was able to follow them into the apartment, where I was then able to access our room as I had left it unlocked when we checked out and was able to retrieve my items. A couple of hours later I received a very rude email from the hosts accusing me of forcing the door open and damaging the lock, stating that I will be liable for repair costs. Considering they have many CCTV cameras within in the apartment entranceway you'd think they would review the camera footage before rudely accusing a guest. Had they actually bothered to look at the footage they would have seen that all I did was follow someone (who had keys) into the apartment and then open our unlocked bedroom door - there was absolutely no forcing or damaging of the door. I don't know how they think they could get away with trying to scam someone like this when there is clear evidence that it did not happen, as if someone would pay for damages they did not cause. It's laughable that they would even think they could get away with that. I was very restrained in my reponse to them and kindly informed them that, as I had previously mentioned, all I did was follow someone into the apartment and opened our unlocked door, but surprise surprise they ignored me and didn't bother to respond any further - absolutely no apology from them which was unbelievable. Stay here at your own risk - there are much nicer properties around, I wouldn't recommend giving these people a cent of your money."
