To begin with, Eagle’s Rest is located right at the heart of historic Jackson, just four blocks from the famous Town Square, with its world-renowned elk-antler gateway — not to mention dozens of terrific restaurants, bars, and boutiques.We love to start each morning with croissants and lattes from our neighborhood Persephone Bakery before heading out for the day’s adventures.Depending on the season, you might choose rafting on the Snake River, hiking or biking among majestic peaks, or even a wildlife safari in Grand Teton or Yellowstone national parks.In the winter, it’s all about the skiing and boarding. World-class Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is just 20 minutes away, and our smaller local favorite Snow King is even closer — visible directly from your Eagle’s Rest patio.Of course, you’ll need good food to fuel all this activity. For a quick grab-and-go lunch, try a hearty and delicious sando from the farm-to-table Cafe JH (located just downstairs on our 1st floor).In the evenings, prepare your own culinary sensation in our fully equipped, top-of-the-line kitchen, or stroll out on the town for drinks on the rooftop at the Cloudveil hotel or at the fun and famous Million Dollar Cowboy Bar before digging into dinner at the Snake River Grill or The Bistro.You’ll also find great shopping at Habits and Accentuate for western fashions, and Mountain Dandy or MADE for gifts and collectibles.(These are just a few of our own faves.
