So, check in was fine. Nice person greeted me. She told me she was upgrading me to a king suite (which I am pretty sure that's what I reserved). While I was checking in she casually mentioned they don't clean the rooms during the stay but will supply sheets and towels at the front desk if requested. Tired from the long trip I just wanted to get to my room. The room was not terrible but then I saw black mold in the bathroom, fan did not work along with the hair dryer. I called the front desk and was told there is no one there from maintenance so the only thing they can do was bring another hair dryer. The girl brought one up and plugged it in. Still nothing, She suggested we bring the wall mounted unit into the room and plug it in near the kitchen sink.It worked but no mirror. After 2 days the room got real funky and I just figured we would endure till we had to leave. Waffles,cereal, cofffee and toast was available every morning and was ok. Place looks real nice from the outside and probably could be good if they had a functioning cleaning and matinance staff. I go to Ocean City every year and mostly stay at the Holiday inn express. I think that's where I will be next year. They have similar rooms, breakfast etc... but they at least CLEAN THE ROOMS!
