Go somewhere else, no matter what the price DO NOT STAY HERE or at the Holiday Inn next door. This was our worst park, sleep, fly experience ever. We generally take 5 or six trips a year and sometimes we have run into problems, but nothing like at this hotel. The beds are wrapped in plastic and we do not believe the sheets were clean. The electrical cords were pulled out of the walls and not all of the lights worked. We were only there for about 6 hours of sleep, so we dealt with it. The night before we filled out paperwork stating that we needed to leave for the airport at 6:00am and were told it would be no problem. However, there were too many people, so were were told to wait for the next shuttle. Well there is only one shuttle once an hour. After having to wait over an hour an a half, a broken down minivan picked us up to take us to the airport that only held 6 people; there were 10 people now waiting in the lobby. Even though the van was full, it stopped at the Holiday Inn next door (Both hotels are owned by the same person). At least we made the 7:30 shuttle (was supposed to leave at 7:00am). We were forced to put our luggage on our laps because the van was too small. Van made piercing loud noise as some sort of door warning alarm was going off the entire trip. Van was filthy, had toys and food all over like it was someone's home vehicle. The owner came out to apologize and told us he was getting new vans as we were about to leave. To go back to hotel, we were forced to wait at O'hare for two hours before were were picked up. We tried calling numerous times, but no one answered the front desk phone. Finally, we did talk to someone who tried to blame it on ”a new driver.” We were told to ”look for a white minivan with a huge gash out of one door.” After two hours they did pick us up with the same old broken van. Again, there were way too many people waiting, but not enough room. When we got to the hotel, the owner came out and started yelling at the driver that he left people behind, the driver told the owner that the van was full. My husband and I reminded the owner of his promise to have ”new charter vans” for our trip home. He told us to stay out of his business and if we didn't like the service that we shouldn't stay at his hotel. He went on to yell at us stating that he can fill his hotel anytime and doesn't need follow-up customers. Go somewhere else, no matter what the price DO NOT STAY HERE or at the Holiday Inn next door.
