We stayed here for 6 nights recently. Having read some of the recent reviews before we travelled, we were contemplating changing hotels. Glad we didn't. Our room was a good size, and clean. Basic toiletries were provided. We were in the main hotel block, so walking to the restaurant was only a 2 minute walk. The maids cleaned the room every day apart from Thursday, which is a 'environment' day. You could request them to clean your room on this day too if you wanted. Pro's - The breakfast, lunch, and dinner had plenty of variety. Different meats, different salads catering for veg and non veg. Yes some things were repeated but with a slight twist, e.g chicken curry, creamy chicken pasta, chicken with vegetables. No-one really pushed infront of you at any of the counters, overall we were pleased. -Night entertainment was very good. The kids stuff started from 8 or 8.30 with the adults one at 9.30pm. Every day was different, for example we had a Turkish night, African night, Chinese night, Brazilian night, South American night etc. All ending with the catchy 'its a good life' song performed by some of the entertainment staff. -Plenty of choice of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic, with several bars throughout the hotel complex. -Several refrigerators around the hotel containing bottled water. This was very good. Help yourself to however many you want. -Pool activities in the morning and daytime. Things like aqua aerobics, water volleyball etc. -Friendly staff throughout. Yes not everything speaks good English, but they do try their best. Found that most people at reception spoke perfectly good English. -Beach at the doorstep. The beach is a mixture of 30% stones 70% sand, and its a fairly small beach in terms of width. But it was still nice to relax and sunbathe here. -Restaurant staff always on hand, plenty of them cleaning tables, making sure the everything was topped up. -A good and well equipped gym. As a regular gym goer, I was surprised at how much they had in this gym. Usually hotel gyms are very very basic. -Cons - we didn't really have many negative points but I'll mention a view - Our shower gel dispenser stopped working after the second day. It seemed like the maids didn't check this during our entire stay, as it still didn't work on our last day. We had brought our own shower gels from the UK anyway, so this didn't bother us. - Hotel is beachside, and not much is around. You can't take a walk to the shops. To get into Belek town, it cost 5euro one way (you can pay in Lira too), and its a 5/6 minute drive. There is a small supermarket shop on the hotel complex near the swimming pool, but as expected the prices are steep. -We found that there wasn't too much sunbeds in the morning that were in the direction of the sun. These were all taken pretty much. Considering we went in mid September, would hate to think what its like in peak Summer months. -On our departure, we arrived to reception at 5.45am.
