Nouveau Camiguin is SO BEAUTIFUL… sandwiched between the sea and the mountain. The beautiful pool and well-manicured landscape made us rush back to the resort after a morning of swimming at White Island, and another morning of snorkling at Mantigue Island, and a full day of touring the island of Camiguin. We loved our stay… my 7yo daughter loved the water playground… Tip: ask the staff to turn on the water since they keep it off if no one is playing to conserve water. Our teenage boys played volleyball at the outdoor court every afternoon. At night, we enjoyed Ping-Pong and Karaoke at the game room, a relaxing full-body massage at the spa room, or just rest in our very comfy beds in our very spacious and gorgeous Family Suite—this is perfect for our family of 5 with 2-bedrooms, 2-baths, and 2-patios with pool access… what a treat for our 2 teenagers and 7yo. The Breakfast Buffet had enough selection to satisfy the kids’ love for buffet breakfasts. Because I love a nice warm bowl of Chicken Tinola soup, we lunched at Mi Restaurant and tried their version called Surol (prepared with native chicken, and coconut milk); And at Waves Restaurant, we had their Seafood and BBQ Platter which had my favorite grilled Panga (grilled Tuna jaw). Tip: Food prep takes a bit long so preorder ahead especially if you are feeding hungry kids or if you are a big group. Very courteous staff… always ready with a smile and a willingness to help and answer any questions we have about touring Camiguin. Tip: In retrospect, it would have been best if the staff could have recommended for us to take their speedboat to Kinoguitan Port when CebuPac cancelled and rebooked our return flight to fly out of CDO. It would have been more efficient and comfortable than taking the ferry since we were a big group of family friends that could have cost-effectively split the speedboat cost. Nonetheless, exploring the island and staying at Nouveau Camiguin was a great experience shared with family friends. We loved Camiguin!

We had a very relaxing stay at this place. The staff service is superb from our arrival to departure. We rented the upper unit and the view from the room balcony is stunning- you can see White island. They have a pool, a basketball ring, several spots for photos for your Insta and a separate building to eat and chill. However, it was too cold during the time we went there so we did not use the pool, but that's fine. Staff are very courteous and would ask us if we had eaten yet (when arriving from our daily trips in the city center at night). Food is reasonably priced, delicious and they give generous portions. We only ate breakfast there since we were in the city proper for lunch and dinner. You could also opt to have your food and drinks delivered in your balcony. They also have a bar- I ordered the Espresso Martini and it was delicious. Wifi is strong- they have Starlink and even though there were times the electricity was out (they have a generator though), Wifi connection was there. We worked a bit during the nights we stayed there and the Wifi was strong, especially in the balcony. It fogged 3 out of 4 days that we stayed there and it feels like we are in Baguio haha. We did not use the AC in the room because it was already cold. The bathroom was also very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Going to the location would take us 15-20 mins via rented motor, just be careful with the road since there are many curves, foggy road, but overall, okay. Also, we went there Dec 2024 and it gets dark very quickly at night so if you are from the city, be sure to go to Paraiso by 5:30 pm since the road going there is not lighted. Road is also passable via car since we passed some on the road. They have parking for your car and motor also. Going there, you can pass by Utopia Cafe and beyond the road from Bintana sa Paraiso is Nanaw Cafe- good food also. Overall, a very recommended place if you want to relax in Camiguin. Shoutout to the front desk manager -Jayr and the other staff for inviting us to their Christmas party- VERY FUN!

While staying with friends on Camiguin Island, Philippines, we visited Balai sa Bai Bai (The House on the Beach) outside Mambajao for sunset drinks on their beachside viewing platform; followed by dinner in the charming open air dining room, set above calming water pools. It was delightful. We were met by the Swiss owners Alessandra and Roman who supervised everything throughout. The sunset was superb, and dinner and drinks excellent. As well as the hotel, their main business is scuba diving, which we didn’t do - but judging by the owner’s charm and attention to detail, and comments from resident guests who were dining, they are very good at that too. Highly recommended for a romantic stay.

Good ambiance and stunning views. Good food and very spacious room. Very kind and attentive staff. Loved our time and will surely visit again. Will share it to our family and friends to come and visit bintana sa paraiso. What a great experience for us for our anniversary.

The property is beach front and it has a magnificent view of both the sunrise and sunset; the staff is friendly and the service is great, too. If you are looking for a tropical and boho chic vibe, check out this property. I wanted to book the room with provate bath and toilet but they are fully booked so i booked the one with shared bath and toilet. Certainly, it didn’t disappoint. The rooms is spacious with basic amenity. I’m looking forward to booking since I’ll surely Camiguin!

우리는 2022년 12월 대가족과 함께 도착했습니다. 숙소는 깨끗하고 잘 관리되어 있습니다. 호텔 직원 Rowena는 매우 도움이되고 친절했습니다. 우리의 요구를 매우 수용합니다. 해변은 안전하고 수영은 매우 즐겁습니다. 멋진 파티오가 있으며 가구는 견고하고 편안합니다. 우리는 화이트 아일랜드를 바로 바라보았다. 매우 합리적인 가격. Marianata에는 우리가 절대적으로 필요한 모든 것이 있었고 특히 해변가가 있었습니다. 다음에 Camiguin Island에서 다시 여기에 올 것입니다.
