Sorry to say that we do not believe the hotel is up to its 5 star standard. It is a good hotel and the hotel does take care to look after it and make it enjoyable for people staying but if you are expecting 5 star quality it will let you down. In the room, inside the kettle, the coffee cup and the spoon were dirty (these hadn’t had a clean before us arriving), there was an awful sewage smell coming from the drain in the shower so bad that if we didn’t shut the bathroom door ah all times our room smelt revolting (this was room 336) I don’t know if it’s a general thing or just unlucky with the room. It felt like at times staff would favour people who have stayed at the hotel before (regulars) or people who had been staying there for a few days rather than welcoming new people. Finally, to top off our stay here, 5am we needed to leave for the airport, we asked the reception if he would kindly just call us a taxi, he told us this would be a charge of 250 DHR (we already knew this should have been no more than 150), we said no thank you walked into the street and got a taxi for 100 DHR. Very bad

Mon séjour au Fairmont Tazi Palace a été tout simplement parfait ! L’hôtel est magnifique, très bien entretenu, avec des espaces communs superbes, des chambres confortables et une vue imprenable. Chaque détail a été pensé pour que l’expérience des clients soit exceptionnelle. Un grand merci au personnel, qui a été accueillant, professionnel et toujours à l’écoute. Je tiens tout particulièrement à remercier Hind et Najib, dont la gentillesse, la disponibilité et le sourire ont rendu mon séjour encore plus mémorable. Vous avez vraiment contribué à créer des souvenirs inoubliables ! Je recommande cet hôtel sans aucune hésitation à tous ceux qui cherchent un séjour de luxe et de détente dans la région de Tanger. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Our first time in Morocco and this hotel, adjacent to a stunningly beautifully restored bullfighting complex now used for cultural events, was beautiful also and the staff are outstanding. Every request was greeted with an enthusiastic response and immediate action. The hotel is only 1.5 years old and easily accessible from downtown, the walled markets and the airport. They have a restaurant open during business hours for guests and a breakfast buffet that was above and beyond.   No pool , but wifi was good and staff were attentive and helpful.  Would stay there again without question.

Very good hotel staff very pleasant specially the receptionist Nada.She been so kind and helpful.Breakfast served is very delicious.All staff down to earth.Location is ideal in the middle of city.Cleanliness is perfect.Air conditioning working well in all rooms Would like to recommend to everyone 👍

정중하고 친절한 분이 체크인을 도와주셨는데, 모든 것을 설명해 주시고 모든 요청에 ​​응답해 주셨습니다. 호텔은 중심부에 위치해 있어 매우 편리했습니다. 방 자체는 작고, 늦게까지 밖이 시끄러웠습니다(저희는 크게 신경 쓰지 않았습니다). 방은 매우 습하고 편의시설은 거의 없었지만, 필요한 모든 것이 갖춰져 있었습니다. 저희에게는 전용 욕실이 중요했습니다. 메디나와 바다가 보이는 멋진 전망의 테라스도 있습니다. 가격도 아주 좋고, 가격 대비 최고였습니다.

It’s fair choice for 1 night stay in Tangier, the staff are friendly and helpful. In terms of the room, the toilet does smell and you smell it while you are staying the room. As it right across the mosque, you are expected to hear announcement a few times a day, one of them is 7am in the morning.

Esta vez no estuve tan agusto como la anterior vez. La habitación carecía de nevera, la bañera está demasiado alta. Por lo demás el WiFi ha mejorado mucho y hay muy buena conexión en todo el hotel.

숙소는 깨끗하고 편안했고 조용한 위치에 있었지만 상점에서 도보 거리에 있었습니다. 숙소에는 세탁기를 포함한 주방 장비도 잘 갖춰져 있었지만 옷을 말릴 곳이 없었습니다. 나는 밤새 재산과 우리 차량을 지켜보는 경비원이 있다는 것에 감사했습니다.

The location is excellent—quiet, away from the city’s noise, and offering a beautiful sea view that makes for a very relaxing stay. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the young staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. I would recommend this hotel to travelers across different budgets. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The rooms rely on air conditioning for heating, which was not very comfortable. A proper heating system, such as external radiators, would greatly improve guest comfort. During my 9-night stay, this issue unfortunately contributed to me catching a cold. Additionally, installing bidets in the bathrooms would be a valuable upgrade, as this is an important feature many travelers appreciate but is currently missing. It is a relatively small investment that could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
