What a beautiful little place! I only booked with 3 days notice so didn’t do much research into it. With it being 2 star I wasnt expecting much. However, we arrived around 2am and I was very warmly greeted to check in and was took to my room without even having to lift a suitcase. The room was lovely and modern with good AC, good bathroom, comfy bed and mini fridge. We slept great every night. The breakfast was good to start your day sitting outside. During the day we would cross the road and spend our time either at the pool or the beach. In the evenings we would go for a walk and choose where to eat as the area has so many restaurants and bars, we didn’t go to the local bars as we enjoyed heading back to the hotel after dinner and spending the evening at the moonlight bar, run by Bojan and Simon. 2 absolutely fantastic guys, always great service with a big smile. Always offering advice on local areas, always ready to have a laugh with you, we really enjoyed our chilled nights there after a day in the sun. We had a very late flight home and Mr Manos was very kind to let us have a shower after being at the beach so we could travel home fresh and clean. Such a perfect little place, everyone is kind and helpful, Mr Manos and his wife very kind and helpful with local areas, the cleaner and the woman from breakfast with beautiful hearts and Bojan and Simon, the heady and soul of moonlight. Our stay at Hotel Moonlight in Stalis was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the experience was flawless and full of genuine hospitality. I’ll admit, I was initially a little hesitant when I saw how many excellent reviews came from repeat visitors — I worried it might feel a bit cliquey. But it wasn’t like that at all. Instead, it was welcoming, warm, and relaxed from start to finish. The family who run the hotel are truly wonderful; they made us feel valued, comfortable, and completely at home. Breakfast each morning was great, with plenty of choice and a lovely atmosphere to start the day. We also loved using the pool at the hotel just across the road — absolutely incredible facilities, and only €8.40 for two sunbeds and a parasol, which felt like fantastic value. The location couldn’t be better. There are lots of souvenir shops nearby, plus a great supermarket within easy walking distance. And the local restaurants? They absolutely blew us away. Every meal was memorable, delicious, and full of that authentic Greek charm. What really says it all is this: we will definitely be returning. As a couple, we never go back to the same place twice — we love trying somewhere new. But the hospitality at Hotel Moonlight was so exceptional that we’d be foolish not to return. It was our second stay at Moonlight Hotel, and we had another great holiday! The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean with a balcony, and breakfast is consistently good. There’s no pool, but the beach is a short walk away or you can use the hotel across the road (sun-beds cost €8.40). The bar linked to the hotel is run by Boyan and Simon and is great. Stalis is a lovely holiday location with plenty of excursions surrounding if you want to do something different. We can’t wait to return!

Had the pleasure of staying here over the last week. Every member of staff were so welcoming and friendly, even down to the little dog Rocky who said goodbye to us. We arrived at 4am and were still greeted upon arrival, and everyone who worked seemed to remember each individual guest. The location is amazing as just a two min walk to the beach, surrounded by amazing views and many different places for food. Would 100% go again.

Our 10th year running to this small and friendly hotel and wouldn't go anywhere else. Rooms cleaned every day, with sheets and towels changed every two days. Need to pay for air con and safe. Breakfast ranges from toast to ham cheeses,fresh fruit, cereals, bacon, beans, sausages, tea, coffee and juice. No pool, but allowed to use pool and sunbeds in hotel just across the road which is right on the beach. 2 Sunbeds and umbrella 8 euro 40. The bar in the front of the hotel is run by 2 twin brothers Boyan and Simon, and what amazing barmen they are. Always welcoming and like to chat if they gave time. Best Carmen in Stalis. You can see why we return year after year. Already booked for next year. Can't wait.
