Discover your new favorite getaway.Conveniently located in Newport News, VA between Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, the Hilton Village neighborhood was built between 1918 and 1921 in response to the need for housing during World War I for employees of Newport News Shipbuilding. It is recognized as the United States' first Federal war-housing project. The Camellia Cottage was built in 1919 and is 1500 square feet. Naturally, it will have a few quirks due to generations of family enjoyment. It is a beautiful property, and we hope that you embrace its character and charm during your visit.In addition to short-term visits, we welcome mid- term stays! For traveling nurses, doctors, professionals, and your families, the cottage is minutes away from Riverside Regional Medical Center, Sentara Hospital, and Mary Immaculate Hospital. The cottage is also close to Ft. Eustis Army Base, Langley Airforce Base, and the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station. We are also in a very quiet neighborhood with a dedicated workspace. Special pricing is available for 7+ or 28 day stays. The house has a large primary bedroom upstairs equipped with a queen and twin bed. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen bed. The full bathroom with a tub is also upstairs. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with coffee/ tea supplies, spices, and everything you will need for a home-cooked meal. Additionally, there is a large dining room that is able to seat six guests for an elegant dinner together. Also, downstairs is a lovely living room and sunroom. You can enjoy watching children playing and neighbors walking their dogs. There is a fireplace, so you can relax at night with heating and color-producing faux fire logs.The third bedroom, which doubles as a family room, is downstairs and has a very comfortable sleeper sofa. This room includes a designated workspace and also exits to the outdoor patio for relaxing around the firepit, grilling, or enjoying what nature has to offer. We are still working on landscaping the backyard, so we request you look beyond any areas that have been seeded but have not yet begun growing grass.The home, quaint neighborhood, and all that Hampton Roads has to offer will certainly have you coming back for more!P.S. 나는이 여행에 완전히 실망했다. 나는 스탠다드 킹 룸을 예약했고 방에 들어갔을 때 내가 예약 한 것이 아니라는 것을 알았습니다. 대신 샤워 실 (핸디캡)에서 킹 모바일 롤의 열쇠를 받았습니다. 나는 3 번째 파티가 분명히 실수로 이것을 예약했다고 알려주는 프론트 데스크에 말했다. 내 질문은 내 확인 상태, 스탠다드 킹이 어떻게 진행되었는지였습니다. 5 분 후 프론트 데스크는 전화를 걸어 더 이상 스탠다드 킹이 없다고 말했지만 화가 났을 때 보완적인 간식을 제공하는 것을 좋아한다면 스탠다드 더블로 나를 수용 할 것입니다. 나는 두 가지 모두를 거절했다. 나는 확인 번호를 언급 한 후 그들이 돌아 갔고, 확인하고, 실수가 그들의 끝에 있다는 것을 깨달았다 고 생각합니다. 프론트 데스크 담당자에게도 언급 한 것처럼 가격 차이가 있기 때문에 Trip에 연락 할 것입니다.

Checked in really late (around midnite but they held my room. I called ahead to let them know I'd be flying in late. Conveniently located on one of the major arteries, which incidentally conveniently ends at the US Coast Guard Training Center. I attended my son's training graduation but his checkout went long - probably because their NCO missed them and didn't want them to leave....so I ended up checking out of the hotel much later than the standard checkout time (11am - I checked out just after 1pm) - but because it was USCG related - they waived the late fee - which was greatly appreciated. The entrance was easy to park (it was raining) and checkin was really simple once we confirmed my reservation. The breakfast nook was directly opposite the checkin counter which made things easier for later that morning (included breakfast). The elevator hallway had a machine which dispensed junk food and sodas - but you need physical cash to use them. Elevator made for deja vu as it's a standard Radisson layout. The room was clean - no weird smells and quite large and spacious with a receiving room (sofa and tv) hot water pot for coffee tea etc. The bathroom was well stocked with towels but the body wash was weirdly located next to the bathroom sink instead of the shower - that was strange. Hand soap was nice and sizable (useful as a body wash, given the fixed location of the body wash next to the sink). The bed was huge (king?) with plenty of pillows and bedding (sheets blankets etc). The room was quite warm which was nice since it was cold and wintery and wet outside. Staff were all very very nice and welcoming and polite. All in all - most excellent experience from checkin to checkout. But it's the staff which make the experience smooth and enjoyable.
