Come stay at my family home inspired by my travels around the globe as a musician and my pride for ‘The Town.’ Nestled in a beautiful and quiet historic North Oakland neighborhood, my home features: gorgeous coffered ceilings, a formal dining room that seats six, chef's kitchen, queen-sized beds with 1,000 thread-count luxury sheets in every bedroom, spa-like bathrooms with thoughtful toiletries, home office, and a zen backyard with sound system and BBQ. Features “SMART” home details such as light and sprinkler automation, NEST thermostat, and a RING doorbell (with backyard camera) that can be operated with an ALEXA home device. Its perfect for the solo business traveler, the couple looking for some time to get away from it all, adventure seekers wanting to explore the San Francisco Bay Area while still being in close proximity to SF and Napa, or the family road trip stop off (we've got private off-street parking that can accommodate an RV or even a boat). You'll feel like you're in your own oasis while staying here! Taking a family trip with small kiddos? Places to eat include: Pizzaiolo, Shangri-La Vegan, Bakesale Betty, Cholita Linda, Wood Tavern, and all sorts of other great places on College and Telegraph Avenue. Whole Foods and the Tuesday and Sunday Farmers Markets are all walking distance.The spaceWhen I step into my space from the street it feels like I have just passed through a portal into some place unexpected. How did I fit all of the essential comforts of home into about 500 square feet without it feeling cramped or cluttered? I think my space is cozy, relatively quiet and very relaxing.I really did try to think of every desirable convenience so please let me know what I'm missing in your home away from home.Now outside, on a warm sunny day I think you would enjoy sitting outside behind the gate inconspicuously watching the neighborhood traffic pass by. People walking, jogging or bike riding to the nearby Park, Dry Cleaners, Laundromat, Whole Foods Market, Berkeley Bowl organic food store and a host of other quirky storefront places that are sprinkled throughout the neighborhood. Including the tailor shop and men's clothing store right next. door. Right on the corner there is a Subway Sandwich Shop, an awesome Gourmet Pizza / Bakery, a Corner Convenience Store too.Guest accessGuest have access to everything behind the gate with the exception of one cabinet in the kitchen I use for storage.Other things to noteThe space is newly remodeled. Everything has been updated except for the cold tile floors. With that said you maybe the first to use something so your feed back sent directly to me would be helpful so I can make the necessary adjustments for the next guest.Regarding the gate I am aware that coming in and out can be cumbersome especially with bags in hand. Open both wooden gates inward all the way to make it easier to get in and out of the security door. The security door must be shut to close the wooden gate doors. I extended the gate as far out onto the sidewalk as the property line would allow me to in in order to provide separation and security. You can walk to Berkeley's campus -- or bike if you're in a hurry. With such an easy location, you can quickly find yourself in Downtown Oakland, Lake Merritt, the Oakland hills, or San Francisco. We checked in around mid night due to flight delayed from Boston to SFO. The front desk waited and processed our check in shifty. There is no in room amenity which makes late checkin very inconvenient. The front desk did not informed us about daily USD25+tax destination charges. We wasted this daily spend in our stay😨

위치는 버클리 다운타운역에서 좀 거리는 있지만, 깨끗하고 침대도 쾌적했어요.다만 바로 앞 차길에서 차소음 소리가 크게 들려서 놀랐어요. 조식은 도시락 형태로 원하는 음식을 선택해 놓으면 시간에 맞추어 객실로 가져와 주어 편하게 먹을 수 있었어요. 그런데,체크아웃 한지 10일도 넘었는데 디파짓의 승인취소를 바로 해주지 않네요.

The location of the hotel is in the downtown of Berkeley with lots of restaurants and supermarket (Target) around. Bart and buses are adjacent to the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bed, pillows and blankets are good and warm. The bath amenities are available but you have to squeeze hardly to get out the lotion. The road near to the hotel is under repair, the workers start working quite early in the morning at 7am, thus it really affected us as we didn’t wish to wake up so early. Homeless people are scattered around the hotel therefore you have to exercise care when going in and out of the hotel.
