It also has two driveways, a covered carport, and room to park a trailer, making it a great place to stay for Bike Week and Biketoberfest. Whether you are a culinary enthusiast or just like to heat up some takeout, our fully-stocked kitchen has everything you need to feed a crowd including large cookware and serving platters. There’s also a propane grill outside if grilling is more your speed. The dining room table seats 12, so everyone can gather together for a delicious home-cooked meal or a night of board games- we have a bunch to choose from! The larger of the two living rooms joins the dining room, which makes an ideal setting for your entire group to spend time after a day at the beach, while the second living room has a cozier vibe and provides a great alternative space. Whether you choose to enjoy quality time together or find a little nook for solitude, our dual living room setup ensures that everyone can unwind just the way they like.If games are your thing, you’ll love the game room where you’ll find an air hockey table, two stand up arcade games, and a sit down arcade table for two. When you’re ready to hit the beach, you couldn’t ask for a better location. Other area homes may appear to be closer to the beach but in reality public beach access is sometimes far away. That’s not the case with this home! Beach access with public restrooms and outdoor showers is 900 feet from the front door- just a quick 3-minute walk away. We have beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, and bicycles- along with a beach wagon- to make your beach trip as enjoyable as possible. But the beach is not the only thing close by. The Halifax River is also a quick 2-minute walk in the other direction with a small riverfront park where you can enjoy a picnic or the amazing sunsets. Also within a 2 minute walk away is McElcroy Park, a hidden gem with a full playground, basketball court, outdoor gym, shuffleboard, and pickleball courts. If you’re an avid pickleball player, you’ll probably want to bring your own gear, but for everyone else, we have a couple of paddles and the nearby community center also loans pickleball equipment. Craving local flavors? You’re in luck! There are a number of restaurants, cafes, breakfast spots & ice cream shops within a mile of the house and sidewalks along A1A make them easily walkable. If you’re up for a bike ride, the options are even more plentiful. There are oceanfront restaurants, fish camps on the river, and even a brewery- all within a 30-minute bike ride, some even closer! We are a quick 10-minute drive to Main Street in Daytona Beach, 11 minutes to the Ocean Center, 15 minutes to Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, and 18 minutes to Daytona International Speedway. The continental breakfast was delicious. Warm cinnamon rolls, fresh-made pancakes, omelets, amazing coffee machines that freshly grind your coffee beans. Anytime we had a request during our stay, it was immediately fulfilled. Front desk staff was very kind and accommodating. Hotel and pool are very clean. Super easy beach access. Overall would absolutely stay here again.

We ended up at the Daytona Grande after the Hilton Oceanfront overbooked and we were on our way with no place to stay! Admittedly not the safest, but I had to book this place while driving from the Orlando airport and just looking for something that wasn’t a total dive but still decently priced without a ton of extra fees. No free breakfast here which is something I especially appreciate as a family of 6, but in this case it was just me and my teenage son in town for an archery championship. After the highly stressful day of travel we had, the Grande was like a little slice of Heaven! It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We decided after having to skip lunch with flight delays and all that, we just wanted a good meal and a good bed and we got exactly that. My son and I split truffle fries to start, the crusted crab filet, and beignets for dessert. All were wonderful (and we’re from Dallas where there is no shortage of excellent food) and enjoyed Oceanside on the dimly lit quiet patio. My only criticism is that the tables should be turned perpendicularly to the ocean and hotel so that everyone at the table gets a view of both rather than one facing a wall while the other faces the ocean. Rooms were nicely decorated, had comfortable, intuitive lighting, handy USB plugs, and most importantly REALLY COMFORTABLE BEDS! We have a Tempurpedic at home so my sleep is usually pretty abysmal at hotels. Now, this wasn’t as comfy as home, but I slept hard and woke without being sore since the bed was genuinely comfortable. My only complaints about the room were that the window sheers, while stylish, really gave no privacy at all, so if you wanted privacy you had to sacrifice light. Water pressure wasn’t great and the bathroom needed more towel bars and hooks. This would’ve been way more of a nuisance with the whole family, but they also came midday and restocked towels and made up the beds, which we see less and less of these days, even at nice hotels in the name of being “green”. But it was spacious and clean and otherwise nicely equipped. Elevators were fast and never held us up. Beach access from the elevator was nice as we didn’t have to walk through the lobby in swimsuits. Parking was slightly inconvenient being caddy corner across the street, but not bad at all. We considered but didn’t try room service mainly due to price and unknown wait (when we had tournament times to consider) but the little shop/cafe in the lobby was great and convenient and priced about as you’d expect (pricey, but not too ridiculous). We got coffee and breakfast sandwiches both days. I think the biggest issue with this place is the visibility. It’s tall to be sure so you’re not going to miss it, but the entrance and signage is on the far side and behind a little aqua building (I think called Sand Dunes) which had to be apartments or a teeny hotel that I can only assume refused to sell to the Grande in development so the Grande built around it. It keeps it from having the opulent entrance that the Hilton does

Location was perfect for what we needed. The pool was nice and access to the beach was perfect. The staff was less than inviting and some were just rude. The rooms were good sized but HOT. Needed to buy a fan to sleep. The AC units do not work as they should. The fan in the bathroom does not do it’s job. Had to shower with the door open to breath. The doors do not seal thus allowing even more hot air into an already hot room. If my room had not been prepaid I would of left after the first night. We were miserable trying to sleep. This LqQuinta does NOT live up to the many I have stayed in over the years. Very Disappointed!
