This property is a three level home , ideally located at the top of Burgess Creek Road and within walking distance to Thunderhead Lift. This home offers the amenities you are searching for on your next trip to Steamboat. The lower level entrance features a tiled floor with benches for boot removal and boot dryers installed for your convenience. A stone fireplace, sectional sofa for viewing the 65 inch tv, built in bunks sleeping 4, game room with pool table, bath and laundry are on this level. On the main floor the kitchen includes a 6-burner Wolf range, double ovens, 2 dishwashers and stainless refrigerator. A large island with seating for 4 and coffee bar area with beverage cooler complete the space. Open concept design and large windows enable you to enjoy the stunning view from the dining area with seating for 12. The game table in the living area provides seating for 4 more. A gas fireplace in this living area creates a cozy, warm atmosphere to relax after a day on the mountain. A half bath, washer/dryer and master suite with king bed are also on this level. The third floor includes four additional bedrooms and bathrooms. A secondary master with king bed, has access to the walk out balcony and private bath. Two additional bedrooms have queen beds and attached baths. The fourth bedroom is close to the hall bathroom featuring a tub/shower and large vanity. You have just found a hidden gem! Burgess Creek Townhomes 206, by Mountain Vacation Lodging, offers a rare combination of high end quality, designer style, fair prices, a good location, and a plentiful and flexible bed situation. There are vaulted ceilings in nearly every room, which adds to the very pleasant and spacious feel of the place. You'll love coming home to this condo after a day out and about. The condo part of a small development that is conveniently located between Ski Resort's Gondola Square base area and the base of the Thunderhead Express chairlift. Every spring, the snow up on the ski mountain melts Burgess Creek flows right past this condo. Its a very nice place with a peaceful setting.In 2019, this condo was beautifully and thoroughly renovated. From the floors to the ceilings, counters and walls, and everything in between, no detail was overlooked. In the living room, you'll find a matching leather sofa and love seat plus a couple of very comfy armchairs. This area has vaulted ceilings , a massive wall mounted HDTV, balcony access, and a wood burning fireplace surrounded by beautiful stone. This is a nice place to relax with friends and family. The main living area is an open concept, so the vaulted ceilings extend past the fireplace to the dining area, which seats 6 to 8 in style. The dining area is open to the kitchen, with a nice bar area that makes meal service and clean up easy. The kitchen is fully equipped and beautifully done. Beyond the granite counters and stainless steel appliances, it features a tin back-splash, upscale two-tone cabinetry, open shelving with custom lighting, and even a wine fridge to complement the regular fridge. A higher end wood look tile extends from the kitchen into the dining area and hallways. The balcony off the living room overlooks Burgess Creek. Guests in spring and summer will really enjoy this space, and may spot moose which are common in the area, or other wildlife.The condo has 3 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to match. On the main level, you'll find two of the bedrooms. The first has a Queen bed, celing fan, and high vaulted ceilings. This bedroom also has a loft area with a Twin bed and very sturdy custom ladder, railing, and gate. This room is ideal for 1, 2 or 3 people. It's also a true master suite, with its own private bathroom. Marble counter tops and tile, a vessel sink, open cabinetry, clear glass, and chrome finishes give the bathroom a very clean, modern look. The second main level bedroom has a Queen over Queen bunk bed that defines sturdy craftsmanship and offers comfy bedding for up to 4 people. Such a big bed either wouldn't fit or would dominate most rooms, but it is well suited to this room's ample height and size. There is a bathroom for this bedroom, just across the hall, and like the others, it has no shortage of style or quality.The entire upstairs level is one large master suite. At one end, a 4-post King bed rests under a ceiling fan. On the other is a desk for those who might have a little work, or homework, to get done. In between is a 2-Twin daybed with trundle. This room also has a wall mounted HDTV and vaulted ceilings. An extra wide barn door separates the bedroom area from the bathroom and walk in closet. This bathroom takes the cake. Sure it has dual vessel sinks on a floating granite counter, custom tile and great lighting, but why stop there. The property owners got creative and made good use of the bathrooms extra size. They used a glass door to "wall off" one end of the bathroom, added a trench drain, and created a very cool and unique multi headed shower and bathtub area. Please note, this upstairs master suite has open "windows" that overlook the living and dining area below. They are equipped with artistic iron partitions and blackout shades for safety and visual privacy, but some sound may still travel between these rooms.There's a lot of things to like about this property. The finishes and furnishings are of a consistently high quality. The are multiple beds in all 3 bedrooms, making this property ideal for all sorts of groups. 3 couples? Everyone has a Queen or larger. 7 singles? Everyone has their own individual bed. In both scenarios, no one needs to sleep in the living room. The condo includes a private heated garage plus one additional reserved covered spot, and the complex also has some shared overflow parking. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is recommended for ski season visitors. In a quiet setting above the base of the mountain, perfect for family getaways or time with friends. Imagine waking up in a comfortable king sized bed (both bedrooms), head to the updated stainless kitchen and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Suit up in your coats, boots and helmets from the custom mud bench and take the elevator down to the 1st Floor, grab you skis from your ski locker and head out the side door. Strap on your gear and enjoy a green run down to Chrisite Base. When you are ready for lunch or a break, avoid the crowds in the chalet and ski back to the condo, kick off your boots and enjoy some sandwiches or burgers on the BBQ (Condo Balcony). When you are ready to head back out, toss dinner in the crock pot and ski the rest of the afternoon. When your day is done, ski home, use the provided boot dryer, and spoil yourself with the choice of a steam shower, heated-jetted bath, or warm up by the wood burning stove. If you are in a social mood, a short walk across the parking lot will put you at the community heated pool and hot tub. The kitchen is open to the living room and features stainless-steel appliances and comes fully stocked with everything you will need (including Keurig coffee machine and Mr. Coffee maker, there is also a milk frother). There are three barstools and large dining room table that comfortably sits 6 people. The entertainment center is stocked with lots of family friendly games. There is also a nice stereo system with surround sound speakers. The open living room boasts incredible views of the ski mountain. Relax on the soft leather sofa and club chair. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace and watch a movie on the 50” flat-screen TV.There are two spacious rooms. The master features a king size bed, built in closet, and a 32” flat-screen TV. The master also has an ensuite bathroom with a newly remodeled walk in shower. The second bedroom comfortably sleeps 4 with a twin/full/twin trundle bunkbed, and a 32" smart TV. The adjacent full bath has a large vanity and a tub/shower combination.THE LOCATIONThis condo is ski-in/ski out, so you can cruise right down to the base area of the gondola and Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. The green ski run that is located out the back door of the condo complex is called Right-o-Way. Other winter activities include dog sledding, ice fishing, and snowshoeing.When the weather is warm, you can rent kayaks, tubes, and stand-up paddle boards and then head over to the Yampa River or the areas local lakes. Rent bikes and explore many of the areas amazing bike trails or the beautiful Yampa River Core Trail. There are countless hiking trails right out your back door and the surrounding areas. This residence sleeps 9 in beds, making it an ideal set up for a large group or two families traveling together. Each bedroom features a large window, ample storage space, and a TV equipped with ROKU and Xfinity cable. Access the slopes by walking across the parking lot to drop into the ski trail maintained by the condo association, which loops into the Right-O-Way ski run. Or, if you prefer, take the shuttle which runs every 30 minutes during ski season from the parking lot to the Gondola Transit Center. The Right-O-Way green run converts into a hiking/biking path in the summers, making this location a perfect playground all year round.You are steps away from the condo amenities, including a large outdoor heated pool, salt water hot tub, gym, sauna, and seasonal tennis/pickle ball court (with pickle ball racquets available for your use.) The pool is heated to around 90 degrees in the winter and makes for a delightful apres-ski experience. Storm Meadows Club A 314 by Mountain Vacation Lodging offers an ideal location with a plethora of on site amenities and comfortable, tasteful furnishings. This location is ski in ski out with direct access to the national forest for summer hiking or biking. Onsite amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, tennis court, saunas and locker rooms. The condo is on the third floor and features a gas fireplace, leather sofa, large HDTV, and a fully equipped kitchen. Please read on for more details.The Property:The condo is all on one level. When you enter, you'll find a bench where you can sit down and remove your shoes or ski boots. There are also coat hooks and built in storage cubbies. Throughout the condo, you'll find that the ceilings are nice and high, with tongue and groove wood paneling and large exposed beams that have been painted white to brighten up the space. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all one large space where even larger groups can gather together in comfort. On cool summer evenings and during the colder seasons of the year, you'll really love the warmth of the gas fireplace. The dining table seats 6 and the kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to cook, including pots, pans, dishes and utensils. You might even find some spices, oils, or other basics waiting for you in the cabinets. Bedroom 1 is a good size, easily accommodating a King and matching bedside tables as well as a chest with HDTV. This first bedroom is a suite, with a private bathroom. Bedroom 2 has 2 Twin beds and a beautiful barnwood accent wall that reminds you of the rustic western nature of Springs area. This bedroom also has a reading chair, dresser, and HDTV. The bathroom for this bedroom is located right across the hall, allowing easy access from the bedroom as well as the living room, a nice feature for groups who have someone using the sleeper sofa. This condo also has a small outdoor space. Off the living room, you have a partially covered balcony. From here (and inside) you can admire views of Buffalo Pass, Fish Creek Canyon, and Pioneer Ridge.Location:This location is great in any season. If you're here in spring, summer, or fall, you'll have direct access into the Routt National Forest. You can go hiking or biking from this condo. Keep an eye out for wildlife. This part near the forest as well as Burgess Creek, is prime habitat for moose and bears. During ski season, the hike and bike access becomes ski in ski out access. Just ride down the elevator, grab your skis or boards from the heated indoor ski & snowboard locker room, take 5 steps out the door, pop on your skis or board, and off you go! A short beginner level ski access trail leads down to the groomed Right O Way ski trail and the ski area base. Coming home for lunch, for a break, or at the end of your ski day is easy too! Just head down the Right O Way ski trail and veer right onto the Storm Meadows Ski In Access trail. The trail and signs will lead you right back to the building! The ski out is nearly flat, slightly downhill. The ski in is also nearly flat with some undulations. Skiers may need to use their poles here and there, while snowboarders may need to take out one foot to push and skate. If you don't want to ski in, or prefer to finish your ski days with some apres ski drinks and food at the base area, go for it. The HOA provides a shuttle that loops back and forth to the Gondola Transit Center throughout the ski season, so it is easy to hop on and ride back to the condo. More info on this shuttle is below.The Amenities:This property also comes with "club" amenities. Besides the ski locker room, the building also has its own hot tub, which faces southwest for great sunset views. If you exit the front door of the building, you'll find the clubhouse straight ahead, about 125 yards away. The clubhouse has an attendant, a small lounge area, and dual locker rooms with restrooms, showers, and saunas. The clubhouse provides direct access to the heated pool and hot tub area. Even the pool deck is heated, keeping it free of snow in winter months. The upper level of the clubhouse has a nice large fitness center and provides access to the tennis court. Also, in summer, the HOA brings out sunbathing loungers and tables with umbrellas. These facilities are really nice to have when you're not out exploring the surrounding areas or taking part in the many events and attractions. Who doesn't want to hop in the pool or a hot tub after day of adventure?Shuttle Service and Getting Around:In the summer, pretty much everyone will want to have a car with them. How else would you get to and from all the wilderness areas, parks, rivers, lakes, and national forest trailheads? In ski season, guests will love this location, and the fact that you probably don't need a car! That's because in ski season, the development has a free shuttle service. During the day, it loops back and forth to and from Gondola Square, the heart of the mountain village. From there, you can easily walk throughout the mountain village, or hop on the free city bus for a ride anywhere in town. Many of the ranches and attractions or winter activities outside of town, such as snowmobiling or the Strawberry Park Hot Springs, offer a tour option where they'll come pick you up. So you have lots of options outside of renting or bringing a car. If you're planning to head out to explore town during ski season, at night, that's when you might need to make use of one taxi options. Fortunately, for guests at this condo, you probably won't need transportation much at all. Once you have your skis or boards, starting your day is as simple as getting yourself ready and strapping on your skis or board!Arrival, Access, and Parking:Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with arrival instructions and answers to any specific questions you might have. When you arrive, access is easy. There are zero stairs between the parking lot and the building entrance. Once inside, you can take the elevator or stairs up one floor to the condo. If you'll have a vehicle of your own, the parking is an outdoor lot and spaces are not assigned. Sorry, trailers are not allowed, per HOA guidelines, but if you plan to bring one, there are options for parking them off site. Good things were location, cleanliness, and modern (flipped) updates, big kitchen with all needed cooking appliances. Bad things were: room wasn’t ready upon arrival two hours after checkin (same for several other people waiting); noise - window A/C units kept in during winter created only a thin sheet of plastic separating outdoors. Lots of stomping, carts rolling, yelling at night, and traffic noise right outside bedrooms; poor responsiveness for missing items (no coffee maker - took three calls over several hours), no soap or shampoo in showers (delivered on last day), not enough coffee packets (never delivered despite multiple calls). Shuttle service very iffy. Sometimes only one running during high volume times. Advertisement on trip.com did not reveal that place was under major construction so no pool or hot tub or ski lockers available. Sidewalks and entry extremely icy and dangerous to walk on. Makeshift second floor check in room (due to construction) required walking on icy walkways and staircases to get to. Surprised they could get away with this from an insurance perspective.

Average hotel. For the price, we'd stay again. I enjoyed having the loft room and kitchen available. We didn't get housekeeping on a 2 night stay and there was not enough coffee for two days. Bed was comfortable, pillows good. It's definitely an outdated place. Isolated from town. We didn't use the shuttle because we read other negative reviews. The doors to the rooms do slam shut and we could hear everything from the hallways, even up in our loft. Nothing terrible, but nothing outstanding.
