This unit is in the heart of downtown Madeline Island. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and beaches. This is an ideal place to relax and take in the views. Your rental unit is located on the second floor and has a panoramic deck to enjoy morning coffee a cocktail or just to soak in the scenery. This includes a massive deck with plenty of seating and tables to enjoy additional views or shared with other company if you so chose. We have created a bbq and beer garden as well. Use one of the two grills and courtyard area for wonderful meal outside. The lodging includes one bedroom and a bunk bed (note: bunk bed is in the living room and not in a separate bedroom. See photos) allowing for up to 4 guests. Please note that the max guests allowed is 4. If you exceed the max amount we may ask you to leave the property and no refund will be provided. The main bedroom has a Queen Bed. The bunk bed is an adult sized with one 8" and 6" thick mattresses. The Bell Street Lodging was constructed with concrete forms. The concrete forms offer a quiet sanctuary within your space. Or step outside and walk a 100 yards to Tom's Burned Down Cafe. Tom's is an island music oasis. Not to mention spectacular for people watching. Enjoy a short walk to the Beach Club for a sunset view and refreshment. Your family could enjoy Grampa Tony's also within 100 yards of your stay. If you enjoy the convenience of staying close to the action this is the accommodation for you. One flight of stairs, unpack and park your car for the rest of your stay if you chose. The Bell Street is no longer being advertised and operated as a bar/restaurant/event center. There may be a rare occasion that an event happens (more to help the community). Still Waters is a 720 sq ft condo located at 794 Main Street #203,1.5 blocks from the Madeline Island Ferry dock. It is on the upper level of what the locals call “the blue building”, in the heart of La Pointe. A Café, coffee shop, moped rental, and laundry are in the lower level shops. Walking distance to all the restaurants. Still Waters is a one bedroom, with a queen size bed overlooking the veranda at the back of the building. It has one bath with a tub/shower combo. Full kitchen with a coffee bar. It has a spacious living room with Lake Superior views. Seven miles to Big Bay Town Park www.bigbaytownpark.com, 5.5 miles to Big Bay State Park https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/bigbay, and two blocks to Joni’s Beach. The closest tennis court is 400’ at the Harry Nelson Rec center. Madeline Island Golf Club and the Marina are one mile away. Cute two-bedroom upstairs rental unit with a small living area, centrally located within the heart of downtown Bayfield, close to all restaurants, shops, the beaches and the ferry line. NOTE: This property DOES NOT have a kitchen; it has a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. It is ideal for small groups who mostly want to be out exploring and who will eat out or be fine with bringing food back to microwave and eat. We DO NOT SUPPLY EATING UTENSILS OR PLATES.Guests will have the full upstairs unit to themselves. It consists of a small living room, one full bath and two large bedrooms, each with its own full/queen bed and freestanding wardrobe. The bedrooms are spacious, but the living area is tiny and would fit 4 snugly. THERE IS NO KITCHEN. We want to stress that this rental unit is ideal for groups who mostly plan activities outdoors and come back to wind down before bedtime. The downstairs is its own separate rental unit. As sound travels easily through the walls, we ask that all guests observe indoor voices and light feet. **Quiet Hours are 10PM to 8AM****We have a strict “no outdoor shoes inside” policy. The flooring is hard maple throughout with area rugs for comfort. This room couldnt get any closer to downtown Bayfield, perfect location within walking distance to lake, shopping, dining, Madeline Island ferry, fishing charters, and much more. Just a 5 minute drive to the orchards or the casino, there is no better location.
