Cottage located on sloping plot.Satellite-antenna (for example Russian tv-channels). Drinking water from the owner. Shore faces south. License for lurefishing must be bought separately. Lake Tyrjänjärvi lies between Finland and Russia. In the middle of the lake is the border of Finland and Russia. From the beach you can move normally about 100 meters to the east or south without border crossing and to the southwest about 1000 m, but thereafter a border permit is needed. If you want to move to north to the north of Viitaniemi, you need a border permit. The border zone is approximately 100 m wide. You also need a border permit if you go skiing on a ski track in the area. In the cottage there is a map with more detail about the areas where you can go. The lake is marked with yellow buoys. If you do not go to the border zone, you can spend holiday in this cottage just like in any other cottages. Border zone permit is not a fishing license. If you want to fish on the lake, you need a fishing permit in addition to the border zone permit. Border zone permits can be purchased at Kolmikanta border guard station or from website www.raja.fi. Cottage is located about 11 km from the station. When obtaining the permit an identity card or a foreign passport must be accompanied. Horse riding opportunities 10 km, Parikkala 12 km, Punkaharju 25 km, Imatra 70 km, Lappeenranta 120 km, Siikalahti 6 km.

Cozy cabin (77 m²) built in 2000 in the peaceful surroundings of Lake Torsanjärvi, opening onto a sunny grassy yard. The log and stone-built cabin offers comfort, including a bedroom with a double bed, and a sleeping alcove with a wooden sliding door and a sofa bed with a mattress topper. Additionally kitchen, separate toilet and wood heated sauna in the cabin. The location is excellent: only 40 km northeast of Imatra and about 48 km of the stunning attractions of Punkaharju. A wood-heated hot tub is available for guests at no extra charge. Additional information: The hot tub is included in the rental price and is cleaned after each guest. Water is pumped from the lake using a hose and pump by pressing a button, and the hot tub must be heated by the guests themselves. Remember to fill the hot tub with water before lighting the fire in the stove. Reservations start at 16:00 and end at 12:00 on the day of departure.
