괜찮은 방 크기. 저녁 식사는 도착하는 데 시간이 걸렸지 만 맛이 좋았습니다. 아침 식사도 괜찮 았지만 해시 브라운이 없었습니다. 수영장은 그렇게 크지 않았지만 8 세 이상의 어린이가 자쿠지에 들어갈 수있었습니다. 수영장은 토요일에 조금 일찍 문을 닫았고 마지막 입장은 7.15pm이었습니다. 호텔은 전반적으로 꽤 깨끗했습니다.

실망스러운 객실 크기 예약 당시 약속된 객실 크기와 실제 객실 크기가 달랐습니다. 26제곱미터 크기의 킹사이즈 침대가 있는 객실로 광고되었지만, 실제로 들어간 객실은 훨씬 작았습니다(약 20제곱미터). 비좁고 이동하기 불편했으며, 짐을 놓거나 편하게 움직일 공간조차 거의 없었습니다. 처음에는 담당 직원이 모든 객실 크기가 동일하며 제가 퀸사이즈 침대가 있는 객실로 업그레이드되었다고 주장했습니다. 또한 만실이라 다른 객실로 교체할 수 없다고 했습니다. 밤 11시경, 당직 매니저와 거의 한 시간 동안 실랑이를 벌인 끝에 마침내 훨씬 넓고 제가 기대했던 객실로 옮길 수 있었습니다. 이번 경험은 호텔 객실 설명이 얼마나 정확하고 정직해야 하는지를 여실히 보여줍니다. 앞으로 다른 투숙객들이 저와 같은 혼란과 불편을 겪지 않기를 바랍니다.

나는 실제로이 호텔 주변의 이웃에 살고 있지만 주말에 친구를 호스트하기 위해 예약했습니다. 기차역에서 도보로 가까운 가장 쉬운 옵션은 아니지만 도착 시 시간이 있다면 대부분의 길을 운하를 따라 걷는 산책은 매우 경치가 좋습니다. 호텔까지의 택시도 상당히 빨랐고 우리에게 약 15 파운드가 들었습니다. 체크인은 매우 편리하고 캐주얼했으며 일하는 소녀는 우리 방의 모든 편의 시설과 기능을 소개하기 위해 우리를 방으로 안내했습니다. 방은 잘 갖춰져 있었지만 미니 냉장고가 없어서 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 호텔에서 도보 거리에 음식 옵션이나 슈퍼마켓이 많지 않습니다. 그래서 우리는 차가워지기 위해 창턱에 남겨야 하는 몇 가지 항목을 가져왔습니다. 방은 훌륭했지만 전반적으로. 낮은 수준의 거실은 차가워지고 먹을 수있는 매우 편안한 장소였으며, 높은 침실은 믿을 수 없을 정도로 아늑했습니다. 나는 5'11”이고 경사 벽에서 몇 번이나 나 자신을 거의 꺼냈다고 말할 것입니다. 키가 큰 사람은 매우 조심해야 한다고 생각합니다. 나는이 지역의 샤워가 일반적으로 매우 뜨겁거나 압력이 가해지지 않는다는 것을 알았지 만 여기의 설정은 나쁘지 않았습니다. 아래의 펍은 물론 매우 매력적이며 파인트와 함께 앉아서 일몰을 볼 수 있는 좋은 장소이지만 우리는 음식을 시도하지 않았습니다. 나는 아마 이 술집에 다시 올 것이고, 내가 할 이유가 있다면 다시 여관에 머물 것입니다.

The hotel itself is full of charm, with a beautiful setting and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was included both mornings and was a real highlight. It was such a refreshing change to have a cooked‑to‑order breakfast rather than a full buffet, while still being able to help ourselves to fruit, yoghurt, and pastries. Everything was fresh and delicious. We chose to dine at the hotel restaurant on both evenings, and the food was exceptional. The style is very much modern, refined cuisine, and both the duck and the stone bass were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It felt special without being pretentious. The hotel also has a pub, which has a great atmosphere and adds to the overall charm of the place. Whether you want a relaxed drink or a cosy corner to unwind in, it’s a lovely space. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect. Their warmth really added to the experience. All in all, we had a truly lovely stay and would happily recommend The Bear of Rodborough to anyone visiting the Cotswolds. We’d love to return.

Extremely well equipped room and bathroom. Full of character. The restaurant is quite noisy but the food and service were excellent. Breakfast was first rate. Location in the centre of Stow is perfect.

The Mousetrap Inn proved to be an excellent choice for our recent getaway. The location is absolutely perfect – just a pleasant walk to the main town, giving us easy access to local attractions, shops, and restaurants while enjoying peaceful surroundings. What truly made our stay memorable was the genuinely friendly staff. From check-in to checkout, every team member was welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had everything needed. Their local knowledge and recommendations enhanced our entire visit. The included breakfast was a real highlight and exceptional value. Fresh, well-prepared options with plenty of variety kept us satisfied each morning before exploring. It's rare to find complimentary breakfast that actually exceeds expectations. The inn maintains a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly matches its charming name. Clean, comfortable accommodations combined with the convenient location made it easy to enjoy both tranquil relaxation and vibrant town center activities. Highly recommended for friendly service, great value, and ideal location.

I had trouble checking in and had to get help from the bar staff who were very helpful The bedrooms were a bit on the small side for 2 people, there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was very hot weather. The breakfast menu was adequate. We did not have dinner at the hotel. The bottom step on the main stairway had no markings on the edge, and one of my party fell down that step on 2 occasions. Fortunately he was not injured, but the matter needs redressing. We pointed it out to one of the bar staff who said he would pass on the comment. The staff were very pleasant at all times.

Loved staying at the Bell. Right opposite Tewkesbury Abbey, you couldn’t ask for a better location. Free parking is a real bonus here too and the location is close to the Severn Way walk, for walks down to Deerhurst and beyond. Friendly , engaging , genuine, and sometimes fun, service and attention from all the staff made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was so worth the price, and huge portions too! We also stayed for dinner one night ( had a great Indian at the Raj the second night) and were so nicely surprised. Being a ‘pub chain’ hotel you sometimes think the food might be quite bland and corporate but the chefs here know what they are doing. So happy with the food. One or two minor grumbles might be the traffic noise, as our room was on the road ( so wore earplugs and fine) and the very soft bed, but meh, it was fine really. We would more than likely stay again if passing through this way in the future.

Great hotel and helpful, friendly staff. Plentiful breakfast. I would stay again.
