바 시설을 갖춘 영국 컴브리아 호텔

Booked in for 1 night to have a rest in some luxurious surroundings after a lot of travelling around the country visiting friends. Hunday Manor is a beautiful old house in a fantastic spot on the side of a hill with a great view. The hotel is very well appointed and the rooms are well looked after. The quality of the food for both an evening meal and the cooked-to-order breakfast was excellent. Perhaps the only facility I would add is a few overnight EV charge points in the car park. The service however was rather comical, starting with check-in. After confirming my name, 1 night stay, and printing out the reservation sheet, somehow the chap on reception muddled up my solo reservation with a couple arriving on the same day who were staying for a couple of weeks and gave me their room. After settling in for a much needed afternoon nap in the very comfortable bed and 'locking' the door on the inside, the rather startled couple walked in having been given a card for the same room. From that point on I never really managed to relax. I offered to move room when I went down for dinner later on, but the chap declined and mumbled something odd about the length of stay and seemed to point at the paperwork suggesting I had signed it making it my mistake! Sigh. Things didn't get a lot better in the restaurant. Myself and another solo traveller were given tables at the back (by the same chap), seemingly to keep us out the way of the couples who arrived later and were seated at the windows. When either of us asked questions about the menu there was lack of understanding about the dishes.. I was then asked around half a dozen times by multiple staff if everything was ok. Meanwhile I could hear one of the couples quitely chatting about their room, no doubt the room I was in. Upon trying to put the bill on my room, the same chap from earlier left me at the bar with a card machine asking whether I wanted to add a tip. At breakfast the next morning it continued. When I arrived the first breakfast room was full of tables needing clearing so I was given a table in the same area where I had dinner. This time given a table at the window but right in front of the only other guest, a lady already eating her breakfast. My table wasn't set so inexplicably the waiter clumsily took a second place-setting from her table while she was midway through eating! After dusting a few crumbs from one of the plates I enjoyed my breakfast. Towards the end of eating the staff were discussing how to rearrange the room for an event later in the day and started moving things around. After hearing the same couple from dinner asking to be told when their room was made available, cleaners were hanging around at the bottom of the stairs when I returned to the room. Nothing like a bit of a hurry up to finish breakfast and get out of your room to make you feel like a valued guest. Upon check-out an apology and a chat but by then the damage was done. No offer to comp a drink (or dinne)r after making a mess of things either. It's a lovely hotel that could offer a real 5-star experience, but the service ended up more like an episode of Fawlty Towers and needs a bit of a rethink. Next stop China.

Had a lovely 2 night break away from 26th December and the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, gave local knowledge and recommendations on where to go walking… the breakfast was good value for money and caters for both vegetarians and vegans. There may not be onsite car parking but the recommended car parking made available at the local cricket club for only £2 per day is only 4 minutes walk away and convenient. Thank you also for all the communication before our stay, greatly appreciated 😊

I have grave misgivings about hotels in the busiest parts of the Lake District, especially at holiday times. Obviously they will be relentlessly overcrowded, with harassed and unfriendly staff. I’ve wanted to go back to the Proper Lake District for a while though so took a risk on the King’s Head. It’s easy to find on the ear popping main road up from Grasmere, just beyond the impressive hulk of Steel Fell, close to Thirlemere. Parking anywhere in the Lakes is hideous and expensive. Not here. Relaxed and plenty of room. It’s a long building with a pleasant bar restaurant area and beer garden. I found a rather pleasant residents lounge where a lady called Jo checked me in and made me feel welcome. It does get busy with passing trade but the staff look after their residents. They flogged me decent real ale and Jura whisky (the proper stuff). Breakfast is briskly table served from a menu and is well presented. I didn’t eat otherwise there but the food is popular and well priced. The road outside is busy and a bit of a racetrack, and the occasional fighter jet roars between the mountains on low altitude practice, but the relentless bleating of the sheep opposite soon returns things to normal. I was a little sorry to depart, but the manager said he hoped I would come again. I believe I will, and will even bring my wife.

우리는 슈페리어 더블룸을 예약했고 하늘이 화창하거나 흐리든 2개의 큰 창에서 우리가 가진 멋진 전망을 위해 추가 가치가 있다고 느꼈습니다. 위치는 훌륭했습니다. 마을과 Derwent Water까지 도보로 5-10분 이내 거리에 있으며 주차 공간이 잘 설명되어 있습니다. Fellpack House에 들어서자 쾌적하고 잘 보살핌을 받았으며 매력적이었습니다. 최상층(위층까지)에 있는 우리 방은 집과 장식 잡지에서 바로 나왔다. 편의 시설, 가구, 수건 및 음료는 양질의 물건이었고 우리는 그들이 현지에서 조달한 비누와 음료도 사용하는 것을 보았습니다. 하우스 키핑은 매일이었고 매일 맛있는 쫄깃한 초콜릿 칩 쿠키를 제공하는 것을 좋아했습니다! 아침 식사는 신선하고 맛있었습니다. 그들이 아침 식사로 전달되는 레스토랑으로 시작했습니다 (길 건너편에 운영되고 높은 평가를 받았습니다) - 나는 너무 많이 먹었고 모든 칼로리의 가치가있었습니다! 가장 좋았던 것은 직원이었습니다. 우리는 머무는 동안 많은 사람들을 만났고 그들 모두는 따뜻하고 수다스럽고 고객 지향적이며 재치가 많았습니다! 내가 얼마나 우리의 체류를 사랑했는지 말할 수 있습니까? 😀

호텔은 비교적 멀리 떨어져 있지만 환경은 놀랍고 객실은 깨끗하며 뒤뜰 잔디는 매우 편안하며 아이들은 재미있습니다. 근처에 먹을 곳이 없고 호텔에서 저녁만 먹습니다. 보통 현지인들만 가는 곳이라고 합니다. 서비스 용량이 제한됩니다. 저녁 식사는 지정된 시간에만 앉을 수 있지만 요리는 더 섬세합니다.

環境很棒綠樹環繞，餐廳也有自己的小花園，衹是我們選擇的房型，房間確實比較小，行李都要手提上樓,怪我們行李太多了。房間確實比較陳舊了，傢具看得出年代感，鄉村度假屋的感覺。廁所也十分迷你，熱水不太熱，開到最大也就是溫溫的。窗戶柜子就一切都比較老了，但床很舒適，就是個睡覺的地方。早餐很不錯，品嘗了獲獎的全餐，還是太多肉了，但水果bar很全很棒，推薦。這裏的接待和服務有些老爺爺老奶奶，十分親切和善。而且地理位置非常好，步行3分鐘就到郵輪碼頭，性價比很高的酒店。

이 호텔의 프론트 데스크는 매우 냄새가납니다. 그 (그녀)가 당신에게 열정적 인 것을 보지 마십시오. 실제로 가짜입니다! 우리는 패밀리 룸을 예약하고 패밀리 룸이 아닌 방으로 변경했습니다. 나는 내 아이를 보지 못했다고 말했고, 나와 내 아내 만 보았습니다. 내 아이는 5 살 때 어머니의 손을 잡고 있었고, 나는 그것을 보지 못했다고 말했습니다. 아침 식사가 포함되어있는 한 테이블의 메뉴 포인트가 될 수 있습니다!

호수 지역에는 아름다운 홈스테이가 많이 있습니다. 우리 호텔도 그 중 하나입니다. 객실에는 면봉과 면봉, 보석 유리 상자가 있습니다. ～ 아침 식사는 하루 전에 주문됩니다. 홈스테이 주인이 직접 요리하고 절묘하고 풍부합니다. ～ 유일한 단점은 우리가 머물렀던 이틀 동안 약간 더웠고 에어컨이 없었고 팬이 있었을 수도 있지만 찾지 못했습니다 ...

나는 호수 지구의 폭풍우가 몰아치는 밤에 도착했습니다. 호텔에 들어서자 장작불에서 따스한 빛과 접수원의 따뜻한 환영을 받았습니다. 호텔 식당이 문을 닫으려고 해서 방을 정리하고 주방을 저녁 식사를 위해 열어두었습니다. 6시간 후 입안에서 맛있는 녹은 스테이크는 즐거웠습니다. 영국 남부에서 운전하여 환영하는 Shiraz 한 잔으로 씻겨 내려갔습니다. 침대는 매우 편안했고 방에는 큰 욕조와 별도의 샤워 부스와 풍부한 온수가있었습니다. 장식과 부속품은 호텔의 나이와 역사에 동정을 표했으며, 보다 현대적인 대중 시장 호텔의 단조로운 변화에서 즐거운 변화였습니다. 직원들은 매우 친절했고 자동화된 비인간적인 시스템을 사용하지 않고도 도움을 받는 것이 즐거웠습니다. 나는 다음에이 지역에있을 때 주저하지 않고 호텔에 다시 머물 것입니다.

The property and the ambience is lovely. The view from the restaurant garden is very pleasant and beautiful. The room size, bathroom size and amenities were good. We faced 1 major problem to be precise which made us a bit sore. Cleanliness - the room was clean except for the carpet. It didn’t feel like it was vacuumed. There was probably a pet staying in that room before us and there was a lot of hair on the carpet. I understand it is a pet friendly property and I have absolutely no problem with that. But cleaning the room properly before the next checkin is a basic expectation. We couldn’t step on the floor without our feet being covered with hair. Apart from that, everything else was very good. Breakfast was also good and the customer service was very polite and hospitable as well.
