Dayuanzhao Temple is a 700-year-old ancient temple, located in Taihuai Town, Wutai Mountain, the holy place of Buddhism, at the peak of the vulture. Yuanzhao Monastery is now a key protected monastery in Shanxi Province. Because of its slightly higher terrain, it seems particularly bright. This temple has the top of Bodhisattva in the north, Guangzong temple in the south, Xiantong temple in the south, Tayuan temple in the east, Dailuoding in the east, Shancai Cave in the west, Shouning temple in the west, Santa temple in the west, the center of the community, Cuiwei in the proud world. The plane layout is long in the north and south, narrow in the East and west, and built according to the mountain situation. It is a jujube-shaped karyotype. It covers an area of more than 12600 square meters and has a total of more than 80 buildings. The Mountain Gate of this temple is special. The general gate of a temple is "Sanmen", and the mountain gate here is "Wumen", known as "Wuqianmen", which is unique in Wutai Mountain temple. Volcano Gate, the first hall is the Temple of Heavenly Kings, the second hall is the Hall of Daxiong, for the main hall of the temple. In the left corner of the temple, there are stone tablets embedding Manjusri Bodhisattvas, which turned poor women to go to Zhaizhai. There are also four murals inscribed on the tablets, which are the same as the legend of Manjusri Fabrication Tower in Tayuan Temple. Legend has it that Manjusri Bodhisattva turned into a poor woman begging for food on the Tayuan Temple "Wusha Great Zhai" after it was handed out. That is to say, it shows the true appearance over Yuanzhao Temple, so it erects a monument and statue here. In the early years of Yongle in Ming Dynasty, the temple was called Puning Temple. In the early years of Yongle in Ming Dynasty, the Indian monk Shi Lisha came to China to preach Buddhist scriptures. He was deeply appreciated by Emperor Yongle. He was awarded the title of "Yuanjuemiao should be the assistant of the great master of national light and virtue" and was given a golden seal and a pyramid to lecture on Mount Wutai. Srisha lived in the Xiantong Temple on Mount Wutai. In the early days of Xuande in Ming Dynasty, Srisha was called to preach the law. The Buddhist activities have fallen behind, and the emperor's decree has not been obtained. Surprisingly, on the second day after the request was not approved, Srisha died of illness. Buddhism is called the silence of the circle. After hearing the news, Emperor Xuande deeply mourned and ordered the imperial sacrifice to be cremated. He divided the sacrifice into two parts and built the pagoda for collection. A pagoda is built in Beijing today and Zhenjue Temple is built; a pagoda is built in Wutai Mountain, which is called Yuanzhao Temple. Up to now, the Shri Tower in Srisha is still well preserved and stands in the temple. The tower is a Tibetan brick tower, with a square base and a height of 5 meters. It is white and dazzling. Four corners each built a small pagoda, forming a confrontation of five pagodas, unique shape, spectacular.
Yuanzhao Temple
