The Liuyun Pavilion came from the ancient Yunting Pavilion. Jianding Park North District is located 104 meters east of Huanghe Tower and 170 meters west of Baiyun Pavilion on the northern slope of the mountain. The stone tablet in the pavilion is a monument left by Emperor Kangxi when he accompanied his mother to Jinshan Temple in the middle of the river more than 300 years ago. The pavilion was rebuilt in the 24th year of Kangxi (1685) and in the 10th year of Tongzhi (1871). Zeng Guofan, governor of the two rivers, inscribed the four characters "A Glance of Jiangtian" written by Kangxi on the stone tablet and placed them in the pavilion. This is one of the best places to appreciate the beauty of Jinshan Mountain and overlook the whole city of Zhenjiang.
