Tianfu Square, located in the heart of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is the largest city center square in Western China. It covers an area of 88,000 square meters and is rectangular in shape with a length-to-width ratio of about 1:1.5. The ground is paved entirely by light-colored granite strips treated by special technology. Tianfu Square is not only the political, economic, cultural and commercial center of Chengdu, but also the transportation hub of Chengdu. It has always been the symbol of Chengdu and even Sichuan, and also a city card of Chengdu. Around the square, there are many flowers, green grass, Qionglou Yuyu and tall buildings, which delineate a unique urban landscape.
