we 4 friends went to Shuanglang ancient city and then went to nanzhao island . Now question is how to go. we went by bus from Dali north bus terminal fee is 13 yuan( one side) . please go before one hour because bus tickets are depends on availability. and by bus it will take one and half hour . get down from bus and take the route via ancient city .. It will lead to the Island . Book the ticket for the round trip which is 50 yuan. explore the island. It's beautiful. But while coming back to downtown you have to come by taxi .. we came by taxi and paid 120 yuan for 4 people in 6 seater car to erhai lake park . I asked to another couple if they want to join and they agreed . I don’t know how much they paid but believe same like us which is per person 30 yuan .

Shaunglang is one of several old towns in Dali, a nice old town area to walk around. It was fairly busy due to summer holidays but there are plenty of places to stop and relax and enjoy the view or a coffee.
