This huge area is a great place to observe some of the great buildings in Lyon. This place is also good to sit down and rest while chatting with anyone. It's a lovely place!

Rue de la Republique is like the Fifth Avenue of NYC, Champs-Elysees of Paris, and Nathan Road of HKG....BUT with way more charm and intimate feel with its classical buildings lining both sides. Stores from luxury brands to everyday ready wear is found here. This is a great day time stroll down this bustling street.
