Liuhe River, known as Liujiagang in ancient times, is located in the South Bank of the Yangtze River estuary. As early as the Yuan Dynasty, it has enjoyed the reputation of "Six Countries'Wharf". Zheng He, a famous navigator in the Ming Dynasty, set sail and anchor from the Liuhe River in the Western Ocean. Today, Liuhe is located in Chongming in the east, Shanghai in the south, Suzhou in the West and COSCO International City in the north. It has convenient transportation, prosperous commerce and trade, outstanding people and rich humanities. It is the home of famous physicist Dr. Wu Jianxiong and Chinese painting master Zhu Qizhan. Ten scenic spots in Qintong ancient town are unique. Some exhibitions are not available in other ancient towns. Especially the streets and alleys in the old town are so clean and quiet that they are worth visiting.
