Binjiang Avenue, known as the "New Bund" of Pudong, is a 2500-metre-long sidewalk along the Yangtze River, which is located on the Huangpu River of Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone. It is situated across the river from the Puxi Bund. It is composed of flood control wall, riverside Avenue, hydrophilic platform, music fountain, yacht wharf, greening, transportation and service facilities. Metro Line 2, Lujiazui station, get off at exit 2, walk to Lujiazui ring flyover or walk on the ground, or ferry from the Bund to Dongchang Road, then go to Binjiang park for 1 kilometers to the Oriental Pearl. From Lujiazui Ferry Station to Binjiang Avenue, you can see a piece of mushroom stone engraved with "Binjiang Avenue". The main road is like a green ribbon along the Huangpu River from Dongchang Road Pier to Taitong Trestle Pier. The Huangpu River is surrounded by chain railings and recreational double chairs. The water quality of Huangpu River is not very good, but the shore shoals with water plants are natural. On the top of the sloping land covered with flowers and grass, people can stand on a spacious platform and enjoy the magnificent scenery of Puxi Bund. The southern section of Binjiang Avenue (Fudu Section) is a combination of modern architectural art and fountain square. There is a yacht sightseeing wharf rebuilt from the old wharf. A remarkable huge anchor and cable pile is erected on the wharf. A section of Binjiang Avenue in front of Zhengda Square is relatively busy, which gathers many restaurants, such as Tianshui's Italian restaurant, Xuliushan, Starbucks and Haagendas, and so on. On the other side of Puxi Bund, the best location of the World Expo complex such as Bank of China Building, Peace Hotel, Customs Building, etc. Along the road, you can also see Sinian International Building, Pudong Shangri-La Hotel and Citigroup Building. Compared with the Bund on the other side, people on Binjiang Avenue are more likely to walk, run, skateboard, dance in the square, sing, walk dogs, soak in bars and watch rivers. They are relatively rich in life.
