Bakong Temple is the largest monument in the group of ancient temples in Rollos. It is the first pyramidal monastery dedicated to Hindu gods by Indra Bama I. With the central hall as the center, East-West toward the tower gates were constructed respectively. The surrounding walls connect the tower gates. There are three walls. The third wall has eight halls and five-storey pyramids. Each pyramid represents different meanings, from the bottom to the top: the world of Naga, the world of Galuda, the world of the fork, the world of Rasha and the world of God. There is also a modern temple at the entrance of the East Tower Gate. I took off my shoes and went inside for a visit, but I forgot to take off my hat. In the temple, a little monk under ten years old scratched his head anxiously, indicating that I took off my hat. I am extremely sorry. I know there are many taboos in Angkor Wat monasteries, but they are careless. Here, I remind tourists to pay attention to: no shorts and skirts in monasteries; avoid discussing political and war topics; go into the temple and take off shoes and hats; women can not touch monks, talk with monks, and deliver things to monks.
